Probably safer to go with the earlier date(Feb 15).
You can also reach out to them via webform/call to confirm which date you should work with.
You think you can get it before March 15?

Currently underway to getting it earlier. Thanks mate

Please does anyone know anyway I can fast track my port application here in the Uk. I am willing to pay pls

MayorOfEdmonton:

Hmmn….if by February 10th you’ve not resolved it yet, an LoE+ evidence of capture date and + efforts(emails etc) to get an earlier date so you can meet the deadline in the place holder.
Whenever you get the port, you it via webform. Then call after a few days to confirm they got it.

Thanks mate. Another thing is that the request letter stated till February 15th to requested docs, however on the ircc secure , it says required by March 15. Which one do you think I can work with

Is there a way you can fast track it, perhaps pay extra money. Visit one of the NIS offices, etc.
When did u apply?
The fact they asked for intl port is usually a sign a final decision is imminent.
Its in your section because you’re the PA.

I’m applying from the UK and I have been trying to get a faster date without success. Even ready to pay sef

Hello all, I am a bit confused and would be grateful if someone can help

IRCC has just requested I travel document/port of my daughter within a month from today which is till feb 15. I had mentioned in the application that the baby’s port will only be available in March as that is the capturing date. So I’m wondering why they’re asking again.

Secondly the request for came up on my section and not my daughters section, if you know what I mean.

Please can someone advise what to do here pls

Somebody help with this pls

You need to inform IRCC before it becomes an issue of misrepresentation. Use a web form to update them immediately. Good luck!

Thank you

Just asking if I need to do anything about these

Please guys, I have just recently gotten my police certificate from Nigeria. I applied from UK. Can I go ahead and this in my PR application or do I have to authenticate it in any way again

You are right that I should read and but you too should at least know a bit about where you are based in.

I learnt this in O'Level government many moons ago.

There is a Nigerian embassy in Uk

Nigeria doesn't have an Embassy in the UK.

How does someone that lives in the UK not know this?

What's the point of going abroad if you are not willing to improve your basic literacy whilst there?

Please in the future, if your posts are not intended to directly assist, it will be better to read and .

Then after a week
Nigerian police will send ur downladable police clearance to you

Yes..tried that couple of year ago they charged me £15 for the letter i took to police station for fingerprint then sent the fingerprint paper to my brother in Nigeria who then went to CID to get the CRC done and post it back to me. It was a long stressful thing, if you have somebody who can do it quicker for you in Nigeria then it will take less time

Please I am still not clear.

I understand I need a letter of introduction from
Nigerian embassy to the finger print agency (in this case, Scotland Yard in Uk)

Then I will then send fingerprints with letter to Alagbon for criminal check.

Please do I just show up at Nigerian embassy with the documents?

Hi guys. Please I have another question.

HR at my place of work has only given me a standard confirmation of employment with them with the details that ircc expect in a reference letter.

Can I use this in place of a reference letter. As this does not explicitly recommend me for a Canadian PR as most reference letters do
buenos116: 11:26pm On Nov 14, 2024
Onatrio:

Yes, in Nigeria, the Police Character Certificate and Police Clearance Certificate/Criminal record are often used interchangeably, and they both generally serve the same purpose. Both documents are issued by the Nigerian Police Force to certify that an individual does not have a criminal record or has not been involved in any criminal activity.

Thank you

Please can I ask another question yet again,

For Nigeria, is police certificate same as police character certificate?
buenos116: 7:44pm On Nov 14, 2024
kevoh:

I can answer the last question at least. Just a blank document.

Thank you

Hi,

Firstly,…..You may have filled the 2nd one in work history too in error. Check your profile carefully again…If you can get the 2nd one, please do.
If not submit for the first one + an LOE explaining why you can’t provide the 2nd one and mention you are not claiming point for it. You have to be very sure you didn’t get point for the 2nd job though as your CRS may be recalculated.

Secondly,… attach a Letter of Explanation (LOE) in placeholder for port- that you started the baby’s port process already + evidence/docs from NIS that shows when the port for baby will be ready+ birth certificate and mention that you will via webform immediately you get it.

Lastly,….attach blank sheet per IRCC recommendation.

Thank you. I have checked. I did indeed put two work experiences for myself and one for my spouse hence they were asking for proof for each of these periods. I have gone to delete them.

Please guys, I have some questions regarding submitting my PR Application

Firstly, I have specified in my profile that I only have 1yr foreign work experience but now asked to two employments record as my personal history says I have worked in these places. Note that I am only claiming points for 1

Secondly, My baby does not have a port, only birth certificate. Even though we applied for one, it will not be till 3months time which is more than the 60days required to submit the application.

Lastly I read that we are no longer required to do upfront medical exam but was asked to proof.

Please what do I do in these situations. Help a brother
