TimeManager: They have started peddling wrong narratives about this brave soldier. What do you expect from him? You expected a party jamboree kind of leadership from him? He has to be firm and precise so that Burkina Faso can progress. How has democracy benefited the African continent? Other than produce greedy politicians who are hell bent on stealing public funds and dancing makosa to their foreign godfathers who in turn systematically impoverish the nations these greedy politicians lead. It's high time Africa stood up for herself. It should be Africa first. Traore is doing the needful, taking a cue from where Sankara left off. The west don't want the industrial revolution that took Asia by storm and surprised them to happen to Africa. They still want to rule Africa indirectly by underdevelop it through their useless leadership maxim. This is exactly what they did to Ghadafi. They started by painting him badly as a dictator who does not want Libya to progress, falsely accused him of so many lies. Pushed lots of propaganda narrative such as this one through their different proxies and paid media and then what happened they invaded Libya and took him out. Now what has happened to Libya- a failed state. They have started once again with Traore. But I believe the young man knows all about this and knows their tactics. The Gold in Burkina Faso is for Burkina Faso and not for any useless Western nation. This type of narrative is a total hogwash to me. Who democracy don epp? 2 Likes |

muhammaduyusufu: Reno Omokri is typical to a local parlance adage that says anywhere belle face. He is just a fair weather friend who looks for recognition where he feels he can get it. Don't be surprised when this istration is over and another istration comes in, you will see him acting as an opposition because it is so glaring today that he is in of the present istration. I don't take him seriously any longer. He is just looking for cheap recognition and maybe compensated politically. 1 Like |

SalamRushdie: Most people think impeachment is so easy. There is a process. If the process is flawed, the impeachment will not fly. The state CJ maybe a stumbling block to the impeachment process. The question is has the state CJ been removed? I that the 27 were going after the state CJ cos they know he will be the stumbling block to their mission. We are watching the movie 1 Like |

Natasha is accused of exactly what Akpabio did during Bukola Saraki's tenure as the Senate President but Akpabio was not suspended. Double standards everywhere.. There must be some iota of truth in what she is saying repeatedly and with so much confidence. She may have some damning proofs. Her problem is just that she is a very stubborn woman who does not like to be intimidated especially by the opposite sex. When someone is talking about a particular thing over and over again like I said earlier with so much confidence. There is the possibility she is not lying. Anyways time will tell who is lying or not. |

This is the true position of things in the rivers polity. That press conference and the statement Wike made which we all heard may have caused the whole bad feelings from the Ijaws. Come to think of it. Let's look at the whole saga. Wike called in the press. What was the motive of giving a press briefing? In the briefing, he undermined the true importance of the minorities of the minorities which is the Ijaws. And mind you, as at this time, there were no militant threats. The threats came shortly after the press briefing. Wike decided to go to one of the enclaves of the Ijaws which is the kalabari kingdom for a welcome rally. Why that rally? Was it to show that some of the Ijaws love him? Or to down play his previous statement about the Ijaws? He made some statements there which showed that he was fanning the embers of Fubara's removal. Fubara on the other hand had already started to obey the orders of the SC which was to represent the 2025 budget to the 27 but they refused to grant him audience. The next thing was to serve him a notice of impeachment. Was this notice of impeachment part of the SC orders? Wike was in kalabari on a Saturday, a notice of impeachment was served to Fubara on Monday, the following day , the news of a pipe line explosion filled the air... That same evening of the explosion, a state of emergency was declared on Rivers State...The quick succession of events shows that this was all along planned and orchestrated by the 27 and their paymasters just to lay hold of Rivers state for their political intentions towards 2027 elections.. The tax collector speech was one sided..The blame game was one sided also. Politics is indeed a dirty game most especially in Nigeria. However, in all of these, the people of Rivers State are waiting to see what happens after the six months suspension. |

madridguy: What led to the demolition of the house of assembly building? What did Fubara do to them to warrant his impeachment in 2023? Anyways that's an old story now. At least both the house of assembly and the governor have been suspended and not sacked. After 6 months, a new chapter will commence. At the end both parties will work together and there will be peace in Rivers State. The governor wants peace by obeying the SC totally buy the 27 and their paymaster never wanted peace. They want trouble by going back to what they started in 2023- the impeachment process - The SC says go back and present the budget to the house of assembly. It did not say go and impeach the governor so why did the 27 decided to enact the impeachment process even when Fubara had decided to present the budget. It clearly shows an underlying factor which is the fight for 2027 supremacy. I will like to see where the pendulum will swing to after the 6 month suspension expires. 2 Likes |

Thundafireseun: What arrangement is that? Were you there when the arrangement as you put it was made. Do you know the facts about this so called arrangement . The truth is Fubara does not want a tyranny to control his govt. He wants the people of rivers State to benefit from good governance. |
![]() |
Chucks13: And you think Fubara does not know all of these? The impeachment notices and subsequent process may have some hiccups along the line that might stall or elongate the process. It will take 3 to 4 months before the impeachment can be achieved and they need the rivers CJ to do so. Cos a will have to be set up Fubara will have the right to defend himself. So my friend the impeachment is not automatic. It's a process. The people that will suffer mostly are rivers people because within these periods of the 27 does not accept the budget form Fubara..them there will be no money to function. There will be no money to even carry out the impeachment process. When the people of rivers decide to arise, crisis don start be that. I pity the oil pipelines. It will not be spared judging from what some militants have been threatening to do. And you know that most of the national treasure comes from rivers State. Rivers political crisis is a time bomb waiting to explode if the 27 do not follow the path of peace. You may sit behind your phone , typing and rejoicing but you do not know the consequences of these whole political brouhaha if they do not embrace peace and move Rivers State forward. Impeaching Fubara might just be costly mistake. Let's watch and see. The people of rivers State are watching and they know that Fubara wants peace but the 27 wants war..and it's very obvious you have emotional inclination towards the 27 that wants war. Fubara withholding the salary of the 27 stemmed from the fact that they defected and sworn to an affidavit to that respect. That matter is still in court. Ordinarily, he would not have withheld their salary. Now the 27 using this amongst all other things to instigate the impeachment process is a typical crass political rascality perpetuated by their paymaster and adviser. The rivers resource control is what they are after and not the welfare of the rivers people. Let's watch n see |

etrouble: You really think to impeach a sitting governor is just that simple. Especially in the case of Fubara. There are hiccups along the way that may stall the process or elongate the process. It is the people of Rivers State that will suffer the consequences. Especially those who depend on the govt for their daily bread. It is also glaring that the 27 are poised for total war and not peace , hence their impeachment notice. They are dancing to the tune of their paymaster. It will take 3 to 4 months before the whole impeachment process is achieved. Are you rejoicing to the fact that within these periods, Rivers State will be grounded with no money to pay salaries, no money to carry out projects.. They say if Fubara is impeached, heaven will not fall...yes heaven will not fall but the ambers of crisis the 27 are fanning will fall and the fire it will cause may consume both the 27 and Rivers State as a whole. Rather than embrace peace , the 27 is going for outright war. The supreme court said that the Fubara govt should go back and present the budget but the 27 are refusing to allow that to happen..is that not war they are looking for? Let's watch and see |

mastermaestro: You keep saying there was an agreement. Do you even know the content of the agreement? And you are bringing God analysis to this matter. Political agreement can never be like God's agreement. Even if there was an agreement as you put it, if the agreement does not in anyway agree to move Rivers State to the promise Land, that one na agreement? Have you forgotten the old adage that says if you want something from ya oga, play the fool until you get it. If fubara was chosen by his oga, thinking that Fubara would be a political stooge Fubara is not dumb or stupid to see the hand writing on the wall. Fubara would have played along quite well but he saw the game wike was trying to play. He had to checkmate it. Why will wike be the one to control his istration. Who does that? The impeachment saga is the cause of this whole brouhaha.. starting from November 2023. What did Fubara do then that warranted the house of assembly to want to impeach him? I know you will say he did not fulfill his side of the agreement.. what stupid agreement is that? Good governance is when the people you are leading or heading are the sole beneficiary of your government and not to some individuals. If you are a people's person, you will always fight to make sure the people's welfare are protected at all cost and that is what Fubara is doing. Why this come they pain some people? |
![]() |
Chucks13: You think Fubara does not know the game these people you with so much energy and emotions are playing? Fubara knows that they are setting traps for him and he is quietly dodging the traps. That is why your friends are going after the CJ. This is a typical APC style that was used on Onoghen. Let's see how it goes. No one has the monopoly of political power play. It's game on. Now your friends have sent bills they ed to the governor without any public hearing. Abi when laws made or amended, don't they call for public hearing on them before sending it to the governor or executive government as bills? It is well. Your friends are playing politics of bitterness, playing to the whips and caprices of their pay master just because of resource control and 2027 election. APC needs Rivers State. Wike to them is the plug. Is it not the same wike that said he can never work with APC. You may say he is not working with APC but with the president. Is the President not APC? Indirectly or directly Wike is doing the bidding of APC and your friends in the house of assembly are the charger. Fubara and the 27 are playing a political game. Let's see who wins |

favor914: What does the constitution says about defection? Affidavit are competent document to prove a point in the court of law. No technicalities here. theophorus: There is a sworn affidavit to that effect. The lawmakers knew they messed up. Imagine going secretly to withdraw that affidavit was also a mistake. That affidavit is already in the public space and it is also in the hands of the SIM camp to nail the 27 lawmakers at the court. Court documents are sacred once it has been sworn to and duly ed and this is issable in the court of law as an exhibit to buttress a point. Tony Okocha is simply playing politics. He knows the real truth but as a politician, lying is part of their nature. Politicians lie effortlessly. They do this by speaking from both sides of their mouth. When a politician says it's morning ...please go out and check if truly it's morning. Those lawmakers are gone except the judiciary is biased and compromised by these same power hungry politicians. The constitution is very very clear on the matter of defection. 1 Like 1 Share |
