Until every street and road is develop like Ikoyi, lekki and VI, I will never consider Lagos a growing city. How can a city only have 4 area they are focusing on and leave other areas.

Is ikorodu, Iyana ipaja, mushin, oshodi and other areas not part of Lagos? Are they fully develop like Ikoyi or lekki? NO. So where is the development?

A place can be called a city if it is 90% developed but Lagos is just 30% developed. There are hundreds of street with bad roads in this state. Infact, I can't when last I see anyone interlocking a street in lagos. It's either the landlord are fixing their street or no one does it. Do ikorodu street look packaged like Ikoyi street? No. So where is the development? What we have in Lagos is selective development? Only about 4 areas are focus on and other areas are neglected.

Until oshodi, Ikorodu, alimosho, Ketu, Orile and other area in Lagos can standout, beautiful and well packaged like Ikoyi, banana island, VI, that's when we can called Lagos a proper city.

Lagos Mainland is where majority of the masses live. If Lagos mainland can not be fixed, like all the streets should be tarred or interlock, with proper drainage, street light and trees for beautification then no one should call Lagos a city because about 70% of areas in Lagos is under develop.
