Nigerians always think any country is better than theirs. If you ask average Japarian, He/She thinks G7 Countries are the best place on Earth, and truly, they found those places better because they are coming from poverty.

I will share my own mind about this japa thing and it has its pros and cons. Starting with the cons, yes, it is costly however what's more costly is the bleak hope that hovers around this country that they can dash at any time T. Also is the uncertainty that comes with it but it's better trying than not trying at all. Ofcourse, japa comes with alot of challenges like every other choices in life but it all becomes a worthy investment if you get it right.

I have seen alot of people make progress between the time they left and today compared to many who stayed back within that time frame. An example is a friend who happens to a doctor has been struggling to conclude his PHD because of the various anomaly peculiar to our society while his friend that started out together and had the opportunity to japa,has achieved far more between the span of three years that he traveled. That my doctor friend as I type this doesn't even know when he will be called to make his research presentation currently and he has been at it for years now, a problem not of his own making but the system.

Out there, system works. Hardworking and brilliance is recognized and rewarded, not to mention the random act of kindness experienced there against the pull down syndrom mentalitywe have here. Here, na person know person technique we have been deploying and it's getting us know nowhere. Even now that opportunity is around to elect credible leaders, some mentally deranged evil doers are still ing rogues and corrupt emperors who have nothing to say but balablue and who knows what's up their sleeves cos I won't ignore the fact that they can hijack the elections and make people's vote not count since they have done it before. I can't just seem to comprehend it. Whereas those rogues and corrupt emperor's children have this foreign access that we criticising today.

As for me, it is all about creating options for myself. In a country like ours, if you can afford it, have a second citizenship. The option to move freely within my nationalities where one is just mes. This life, just like a fan rotates, can change at any given time.. What would have been a tragic heart break turned out to be a blessing in disguise. I'll be brief with this.

I met my Ex., a beautiful charming and wonderful young girl of 20 in the University. We dated for two years. During this period, I was ing her in ways I can. (Normal lady's requests)

I shoot my shot and boom! Were off. Everything a man could ever want was in her. And she was like and Angel because after we started dating, things immediately turned around for the best. As fate would have it, she turned out to be a sister to the man my Ex. ended up with. We got married, and moved to Abuja. Life was sweet with her.. One day, she told me her brother and his wife would be visiting us and I said there's no problem.

Days later, on a weekend, we we're seeing a movie at home when her phone rang. It was her brother and the wife at the gate. She went to usher them in as the gate man instead they should call for confirmation. When they got in, the whole atmosphere changed... Like a dream, I was shocked to see that the wife was my Ex who didn't want to suffer. Apparently life hasn't been good to them and they needed help. I asked them to give us some time to see what we can do... (Honestly, I don't feel like helping) Though my wife is pleading on their behalf.

While I brought this up is to encourage men out there. Do not feel rejected because a woman left you. She might actually be an obstacle to your progress. It might be tough and painful. But see it as a blessing.

I have two cars and one generator and I do not fuel them everyday. Thanks to solar and Honda civic, my fuel expenses monthly is 18k on the two cars. Mind you, I drive 40km every and my wife drive 15km!
I only put on gen on weekend with 1000 naira fuel for washing machine. Solar energy is sufficient for entertainment, lighting and computers for everyday. My NEPA is 2k in two months and pumping machine is connected to a specialize line where I pay 400 naira together with other tenant per month.
Food is taking care off monthly by cooking in the house and food are preserve by condensing ed by epileptic NEPA supply of power!
So, how do you guys spend souch money everyday?
