Anambra is also small, Anambra should come up with a BRT and rail network first.
Why only Anambra, LAGOS is a base,u can't compare LAGOS to Anambra on any logical bases

OP have you heard of Venezuela?
They have the largest oil reserves in the world but are dirt poor.
They share three unique traits with Nigeria
1. Socialism : Venezualans want free stuff from their government and expect it so they keep having communists in power. Nigeria practices a form of socialism with the federal government expected to play the role of everybody papa.
2. A huge mass of very low iQ population that sees 1) above as their rights.
3. They all forgot about going about building their lives because of "we oyel".
Do you know that the US, Norway and Canada produce more oil than we do but you don't see Americans all lining up for their cut.
You didn't mention the most common thing Venezuela has with NIGERIA, long reign of extremely corrupt rulers.Hugo Chavez and Nicolas maduro singlehandedly ran the country aground

The railway network in Lagos is among the best in Africa, Lagos has BRT, do you have?
U lots are only good at noise making, ur entire region should come up with one rail line first before talking about others.
The only thing ur region has is people's houses, no classic hospital, no classic school, no classic mall, no classic transport network, nothing nothing, just noise, noise and abundant noise.
LAGOS is not a region,Lagos rail network is small and very recent, brt is just a mess now.
LAGOS is simply a total catastrophe

Lagos budget 2.3 trillion naira...which is about 1.4 bn us dollars.
New York, which is similar in populaiton size to Lagos has a budget that is over 70 times that.
And you expect Lagos to be pristine and nice on a tiny budget.
Nigerians don't know how poor they are, or why they have a bad economy. I could enlighten them, but they don't want to hear.
Pls enlighten, that is the purpose of the thread

If no president can be worst than Buhari according to you guys, what's the meaning of the nonsense above?
You can not succeed with such twist with me.
Buhari was terrible, TINUBU is terrible so far.
The NW,NE and SW together brought these terrible system upon Nigeria.
The resentment is real and even quite less for the amount of disaster these terrible rulers caused and are causing.
The Yoruba, hausa-fulani and kanuri set Nigeria on a failing disastrous path

The gap in our system is that of production mentality. What we have is an activity system where people secure appointment, use the power their position confers on them to undo the work more than they do it, seek financial reward irrespective of acrual performance or output, and supress better alternatives as a way of remaining relevant. Painful.
What is a productive system?
I doubt if people are averse to production in Nigeria, there's just no incentive to produce.
Eg imagine if ajaokuta steel was producing, but Nigerian government killed it.production is difficult, only the government can favourably lay the groundwork for production. Not majority of persons

Nobody is trolling anybody,BUHARI was a disaster and people had genuine resentment against the Northwest and northeast for promoting such a disastrous evil character as president.
TINUBU is also becoming a disaster and people have genuine resentment towards his evil policies and his tribe that and promote those evil policies.
The north and SW must accept responsibility for promoting and ing evil rulers as presidents who ruin the country.

Traveling around LAGOS today,I noticed something remarkable ,the whole city, even in so called highbrow areas is in total dissarray.
Ikoyi is a dump, even with massive building construction on going all over ,it felt so fake, like it's a fake wealth on display because all around the area is messed up.
I don't just see the pride Yorubas have in Lagos, there's nothing to be proud of,if this is what TINUBU is acclaimed and praised for then it spells serious danger. LAGOS is one big dump.I can't imagine what foreigners will truly think out the place.
Yet other states are far worse off.
How come an oil producing country that has been on the top production in Africa for 50+ years be so fxcking messed up.What were the men that built this country thinking.
What is fxcing wrong?
How can blackmen stomach this
How do Nigerian elites sleep with such massive degradation of society.
What is really happening among black men of Nigeria.
This is a sin before God
For blackmen to leave your society this way is a sin

The statement by oshiomole that Nigeria needs more artisans as elicited varied reaction across the spectrum.
There seems to be a lot of artisans without work while there are also skilled roles that are begging to be filled.
What are the skilled practical roles that the Nigerian economy requires across all industries?

There's been this on going threats by SW people concerning LAGOS. How they are going to displace all non Yoruba especially igbos.
The truth is that even though am not Igbo,my take is that the igbos I reckon will not be threatened by those clichés and rants.
The igbos have seen war and survived.
Such threats cannot rattle them.
Though the igbos should also be more circumspect in their dealings in the southwest and respect their host as they are much within the SW.
Yoruba new conservatism is good.
Every ethnic nation in Nigeria needs to to put their people first.
The Fulani has cashed in on ethnic indigenous Nigerians openness to make a mess of things over the years.
My only gross with the whole thing is the Yoruba promoting their lord TINUBU even with his cruel policies above every considerations.
I again state if Nigeria fails under TINUBU, the Yoruba as a whole will be responsible for the failure of NIGERIA.
Tinubu is taking big risks in his policies ed strongly by Majority of the Yoruba, the minority voices are being hounded by their fellows, there are only two outcomes success or failure.
If his policies succeed then the Yoruba will get all the credit and praise.
But if it fails the Yoruba should, will and must be held responsible giving that the also ed a fulani BUHARI that kick-started the initial damages.

Yoruba in Badagry are from Ile-Ife, not Ghana – High Chief Wawu
Yoruba leader
• Drummers celebrating the importance of drums
Lagos – High Chief Tajudeen Dosa Ayipe, the Wawu of Badagry Kingdom, on Thursday traced the origin of Yoruba speaking people of Badagry to Oduduwa in Ile-Ife and not from Ghana as claimed in a recent publication.
• Drummers celebrating the importance of drums
The Badagry High Chief made this clarification during a media tour of the coastal city in preparation for the Tourism Innovation and Development Advantage (TIDA) conference scheduled for April 24, 2019.
The theme of the forthcoming TIDA conference will be “Impact of Sustainable Tourism Development and Marketing of Tourism Destinations on Host Communities”.

“We, Badagry people are from Ile-Ife and settled at Quidah in Benin Republic, later the Ifa oracle directed us to return through Gberefu to our present location in Badagry.
“The Wawu is famous because the family refused to slavery at the time it was banned.
“Another means of identification with the Oduduwa race is the staff of office presently used which is known as “Kanako,” a metallic sceptre in the shape of the tree leaf to which tiny piece of metal are connected and able to produce a scintillating sound when shaken.
“The staff was used then to shorten a long distance journey without using any means of transportation,’’ the Wawu said. https://newlive.vanguardngr.com/2019/03/lagos-atbowaton-inaugurates-new-executive/
He urged the Lagos State Government and Non-Governmental Organisations to invest in training youths of the community on how to latch onto the tourism potential inherent in the kingdom.
According to Ayipe, there are numerous tourist attractions that can be developed to be beneficial to the government and the people of Badagry at large.
“Most of these tourists sites are: the seat of cannon gun for slavery abolition in 1843, the Union Jack in the Wawu compound, Ancient Wawu palace.
“Also, notable shrines in the Wawu Kingdom includes: Obatala gods, Osun, Sango, Dagbe (snake), Orisa Ibeji, Egungun and host of other gods which all identify with the supreme God.
“We want these shrines and tourist sites well promoted for local and international recognition,’’ he said.
Earlier, Mr Femi Lawson, Founder of TIDA, said that the 2019 conference would rub off positively on individuals and the tourism industry.

He said that Badagry was selected host city to promote and give more awareness to its tourist sites as well as it’s rich culture.
According to him, this will lead to the development of Badagry Kingdom.
“TIDA is set for development of ideas that will add value to tourism promotion through tourism insurance, infrastructural tourism and the virtual tourism device.
“This will help market the nation’s tourism potential domestically and help increase traffic of international tourists into the country,’’ the Wawu said. (NAN)
