Showed that my brother in the united states will be ing my studies and he showed 450,653usd in his as saving and his salary of 500,000usd yearly with his paystubs but I was still rejected based on financial assets and situations today!


He showed our relationship evidence, pay stub, employment letter, his USA permanent resident card, statement and investments and there's no any lump sum.

However, we didn't pay tuition fees and no deed of gift of transfer of 1yr leaving expenses

I want to reapply next month. Kindly provide your help.

The new portal is easier to use but if your file size is above 2mb go with the old portal. I started with the old portal and later abandoned it for the new portal. But the problem had with it was my file size, I had to compress my file to the barest minimum before it got to 1.94mb or so.

Have you gotten a decision since you used the new portal?

If yes, when did you apply and when you got a ? Please share your timeline

Make sure you’re going early for a genuine reason

You’ll be questioned at the POE why coming early and never should you say I came to stay with my family. I’ve seen people study permit revoked and sent back to Nigeria.

You need to be careful when doing that as they might have for your flight final destination itinerary to confirm you’re really a genuine student and going to school

Send them mails with URGENT on the subject. I doubt they will bother checking your medical if they have issue with your eligibility and background check.

During the application, he only gave two names because the new portal requested for two names.

He submitted his form on April 29. So, on May 10, he was asked to submit medical along with the police character certificate.
He submitted the two on the same day. Police character certificate was submitted through a link provided by the IRCC and the medical was resubmitted through a webform because it was upfront medical.

In short, he included in the webform that they should update his name and gave the third name. However, the name was written like this Olawale jelil Ajibade, instead of Olawale Jelil Ajibade. The middle name was written in small letter.

The medical was ed since May 15 and he has not heard anything from them.

He want to know if he can send them a message to ask point to the small letter used in writing the middle name, and also asked them about the application status, because he is not hearing anything from them?
Please kindly answer.
