It's a generic unbranded aftermarket shock for the US market/model.. You cannot easily find this quality in the Nigerian market. Even the " 40k Excel G" (here in Nigeria) cannot be compared to this pair.

The quality of tyres you bought is suspect. If you bought 8 in a year, the assumption is that you changed all your four tyres twice.

It is not possible to have bought 'all tyre brands except Dunlop' during those two changes.

It is either you bought the same brand twice, or two different brands twice.

Your gut feeling is correct as per the price for the front shocks. You were told 45k but the price for the original one is about 60k (fair price).

The rear shocks goes for about 35k(fair price).

Is the proposed seller saying that the A.C compressor, evaporator, condenser, pipes needs to be changed before the A.C is fully restored? Purchasing all of them plus refrigerants and labour wouldn't cost more than 100k.

The market value for the engine(Belgium) is around 120k to 140k depending on the grade and supplier.

Please car Gurus in the house,am still loyal.I bought a tokunbo engine 1.8 liter for my Peugeot 806 around October last year. Since then i have been using it without any problem.But of recent i noticed that if i stay in holdup like 40 min and if the temperature Gage is approaching 70 degrees, the engine will off/ stall. At times it will start immediately,most cases it will not,have to wait till like 5 minutes before it will start.
In the morning if i want to check water in the radiator,the return pipe will start pumping water.A friend saw it and said is not supposed to do like that, once you open your radiator cap the water supposed to have settled down, this one coming from return pipe means something else, that my mechanic can explain better.
This morning i mentioned it to my mechanic, he said my gasket is bad need to be changed. For now that i should not be covering my radiator cap if the water is not burbling. Please people with similar experience, i need advice,i dont want to make mistakes please.
