The Oyo State Universal Basic Education Board has opened its job portal for prospective teachers today. The Job Portal is for the recruitment of 7,000 Primary School Teachers.

The Oyo State Government has said the job portal for public primary school teachers in the State, will be opened by 6 p.m on Tuesday, June 25, 2024.

The Chairman, Oyo State Universal Basic Education Board, Dr. Nureni Aderemi Adeniran disclosed this while briefing newsmen at the Board headquarters in Ibadan.

Dr. Adeniran said the opening is part of the Oyo State government’s bid to reduce unemployment amongst its citizenry.

The portal, according to Dr. Adeniran would , each candidate with his/her email, phone number and National Identification Number (NIN), among other requirements, with a view to provide them jobs suitable for them, either as teachers or caregivers.

Qualifications

if such an applicant is: Proven to have defaulted in respect of any previous loan granted by any license financial institution; Found guilty of submitting fake/fraudulent documents and dismissed for exam malpractices by any school authority; and Convicted of fraud and forgery, drug offences, cultism, felony, or any offences involving dishonesty.


Are there any documents to during the application process?

Yes. Scanned ission letter for new students (compulsory), scanned Student Identification Card (optional).


Is there any appeal process when an application is denied?

A complaint can be raised from the portal, or you can send an email to the NELFUND.


What are the consequences of defaulting on the loan?

Deliberate default could result in penalties, legal action, and potential damage to your credit score.

come up between the hours of 9am on Thursday 23rd May, 2024 to 9am Friday 24th May 2024.

their name and which was created during their online registration for the 10mins CBT.
