Thank you very much for stating this. I believe Rawlingsko and his picker somewhat know the person that sold the phone to them and the fault is with the 3 parties involved. His first response when I told him about the situation was ”Na wah o, You may consider selling the phone off” Who says that to a claim of a potential Stolen Item that was purchased from you. Did I tell you I wanted to sell the phone off ? I simply don’t understand why he keeps insisting he would not take any responsibility for this and I should bear the burden alone. Yes I am looking to get this resolved, But Rawlingsko wants me to take Full Responsibility of a Problem I did not cause. That I would not take. Nicerazor: |

This is the same question I am asking you. You should be the one to explain to the House why I paid for a Phone with A Clean IMEI and I got a STOLEN Phone. Explain yourself. Rawlingsko: |

I don't understand the defense you're trying to present. In our initial conversations when I first ed you to request the TLC 12 Pro, you were the one who encouraged me that it was a good idea to purchase a locked phone because it could easily be unlocked once it was locked to T-Mobile with a clean IMEI. At the time, I had no idea what that meant, but I trusted you and made sure to confirm that the phones I was getting had clean IMEIs because I thought you were here to guide me as a reputable seller. You can see in the screenshots below, I was asking for websites to check IMEIs and you even gave me the of someone that checks IMEI. However, now you seem surprised that I always ask for phones with Clean IMEIs, claiming I am not a "Novice" with IMEIs. I feel let down by your behavior because I trusted you as a novice in this field. This is very disappointing, especially coming from someone I believed was a trustworthy and reliable seller.

I already explained why I asked for a clean one. Read the above thread. Rawlingsko: |

Alright let’s find a solution and fix this matter. I really wish it was Rawlingsko himself doing all these explaining, what pissed me off is the fact he just showed little to no remorse to the whole situation and just says I should be 100% responsible for this. Even when I told him, his response was for me to get it fixed. He did not even bother to explain why I paid for a clean imei and got a blacklisted one. And with this, I can assume he was fully aware the item would eventually get blacklisted BEFORE he sold the phone. Alfred74: |

Yes, I am aware of blacklisted phones, and If I wanted one I could have gotten it for a much cheaper price than what I paid you. I knew always to stay away from them as they have been involved in some kind of Illegal activities. And I DO NOT want a part of it. Rawlingsko: |

I'm not sure if I understand correctly, are you saying that I should bear the responsibility for this situation? As a criminologist and criminal Investigator, I would have thought you would know better than to suggest that I keep a STOLEN item. I clearly stated that I only wanted to use this for personal use, and I'm surprised to hear you implying that I should just keep it and move on. Nicerazor: 2 Likes |

Dear Nairalanders, I am writing to bring to your attention a troubling situation that I am currently facing. On December 3rd, Rawlingsko d a 13 pro phone that was locked to T-Mobile. I ed him on December 10th to inquire about the phone and he assured me that it was still available and that the IMEI was clean with no blacklist records, with this in mind, I went ahead and made the Payment on 10th December 2022. However, upon receiving the phone here in Nigeria on the 31st of December and attempting to unlock it, I discovered that the Phone had been marked as stolen or not delivered by a T-Mobile customer on the 19th of December,2022. I immediately ed Rawlingsko on 1st January 2023, hoping that we could resolve this issue and find a way to sort it out between us. Unfortunately, he refused to take any responsibility and claimed that the ownership of the phone was transferred to me the moment I bought it from him. He said, “The moment you bought the phone off me, the ownership was transferred to you.” I am concerned and frustrated by this turn of events, as I DO NOT want to associate with a STOLEN item because I initially planned on using this phone for Personal Use and I am not to be held responsible for this phone. I am bringing this matter to the attention of Nairalanders in the hopes of finding a resolution. Thank you for your time and consideration." 2 Likes 1 Share |
