First you mistook oil production for oil consumption. We are producing oil to sell for money. It is that money is what runs the country, fund our budget etc.

Russia is a develop country and mostly rely on their oil economy.. EU is still one of the biggest importer of oil globally, during winter they still rely on wood and gas for heat.

Yet they are urging you to go for clean energy... the entire Africa continent only contribute 4% to global carbon footprint and SA and Egypt tops the chart. Lets stop crying more than the bereaved.

And much better. In 2006, BYD's first electric car could go 150km without charging. Now they are considered better than tesla...which can do more than 150 on a single charge.
