Nairaland has been personally helpful to me. I ed when an Op posted he was to give ₦5k to about 10 genuine random people in need. And, before the almighty, i had a job interview in a nearby state without a penny on me.
I dropped my bank details on dat thread explaining my plight. Funny tho that same evening i got a credit alert of ₦5k from d Op dat same evening. Tho i cant the Op name again i remain forever greatful to him.

Abu al-Aswad al-Dailani (RA) said:

While we were present with Abu Dharr (RA), he said: In the morning, alms arqe due for him, every fast is alms, every pilgrimage is alms, every utterance of "Glory to be Allah" is alms every utterance of "Allah is most great" is alms, every utterance of "Praise be to Allah" is alms. The Messenger of Allah ( ﷺ ) recounted all such good works. He then said: Two rak'ahs which one prays in the Duha serve instead of that. (Sunan Abi Dawud 1286, Book 5, Hadith 37) The 2 rakahs of Duha are a blessing we should all avail. It takes just a few minutes and has great rewards. Allah at at times and you will find Him close to you. Don’t let anything distract you for too long before your return to Allah.

Appreciating the beauty around you? Say Subhan'Allah. Having a good day? Say Alhamdulillah. Made a mistake? Say Astaghfirullah. Make mentioning Allah part of your natural habits and blessings will always be with you.

Every utterance of Allah's Glorification (i.e., Subhan- Allah) is an act of charity, and every utterance of praise of Him (i.e., Al- hamdu lillah) is an act of charity, and every utterance of profession of Faith (i.e., La ilaha illallah) is an act of charity, and every utterance of His Greatness (i.e., Allahu Akbar) is an act of charity; and ening good is an act of charity and forbidding what is disreputable is an act of charity; and two Rak'ah prayer which one offers in the forenoon (Ad- Duha) will suffice for all this." (Riyad as-Salihin, Book 16, Hadith 1432)
