OK, what would be the best option for something maximum 200k. Can I get a pixel 5 for that amount or an iPhone XR? She is a small girl, so, may not be very concerned with performance metrics, as long as the phone works well and she can get decent pics and videos from the phone

Pixel 4 in 2025 is highly not advisable. The minimum you should consider is a Pixel 6 or Pixel 6a. And 150k is not a budget for good cameras

Ok, what about the new Redmi 14C, or new Samsung A06 or UK used Redmi Note 10, do they have an "OK" camera and good balance generally?

Good morning, pls, I want to get a phone for my teenage sister in law, she will probably like a good camera as her major attraction, but I also want a phone that will be good all round. What are the best options I have? I want to spend around 100k to maximum 150k. I am looking at redmi 14c, redmi note 10, Samsung A06, pixel 4, etc. Don't know the current price for pixel 4

Haisic has 24v 280ah for 800k but its not with smart BMS.Youc an talk to @valtoand @Mr reed to build a 5kw for you but with less than million naira , you can conveniently get a 7kw 24v with smart BMS from @MrReed.I dont know the current price for @valto

Thanks a lot. How many hours will a 3.6kwh or 5kwh lithium battery last me with a load of about 300w?

I believe the suggestions of @heavenlybang and @fuckboys are very much valid. However, Mercury tubular batteries have been known to be very unreliable. You have been enjoying it so far because of you small load. You can get Haisic 7.1kw for 800k, or same 7.1kw with smart bms from @Mrreed for 840k.Your options are actually very wide with the funds available. There are also a couple of 5kw less than N1M naira in the market

Thanks for your input. Is the haisic 24v and does it have a smart bms? Also, which brands have 24v 5kwh batteries for less than a million?

If it serves you, use it then upgrade after they have served their useful life.

Unless you have another location to use the tubular battery, I see no reason you should be upgrading it

Also, considering the fact that it may be better to sell off my tubular batteries now that they are still working well, instead of using them up

fuckboys:
Considering 50% DoD on tubular batteries, your 2 tubular batteries combined is just 2.6kwh So a 3.6kwh lithium battery is an upgrade from your current backup.

But you said the tubular still serves you very well so I don't see a need for an upgrade, you can keep it till it doesn't serve anymore then a 5kwh battery. Now that's a perfect upgrade.

Thanks a lot, just considering doing the switch now that I have some money saved for that purpose

HeavenlyBang:

With a load of 300w, you'll get about 10.5 hours from a 3.6kwh battery after factoring in conversion losses.

If your tubular batteries serve you right now, there's no need to upgrade. Use them till they start failing and switch to lithium then. Lithium has constantly been getting cheaper, so it could be much cheaper by then too. For example, a battery I bought for 860k a year ago can be found for under 600k now.

I don't recommend tubular to people deg a setup (because they're pretty terrible compared to lithium) but that doesn't mean everyone should throw away their tubular batteries.

I actually saved some money, dats why I just wanted to do the switch now before bills will make the money disappear

May I know your gender, please?

I am a man but I am also doing for my wife as well

Good morning all. I am back again. I have two Mercury tubular batteries which I installed around March last year. They are serving me very well and I have not experienced any day of darkness since I installed them, either morning or night, even during days of rainfall. My inverter is a 24v Mercury inverter.

However, with all the information I have been reading here, I am planning on switching to a Lithium battery. I don't want to spend up to a million naira on the battery upgrade because my load demand is not much but I also want to be future-proof with whatever I buy. I generally consume at most 300w continuously, which is my fridge, TV, fans, and bulbs.

I am thinking of buying a 3.6kwh lithium battery but my brother is advising that I go for a 5kwh battery which will be above a million naira.

My first question is: will the number of hours the 3.6kwh lithium battery last be much different from the current tubular batteries I have? How many hours am I likely to get from the 3.6kwh battery with a load of 300w? Is the upgrade from two tubular batteries to a 3.6kwh battery worth it?

Secondly, what will be your advice regarding the best brand to buy? From what I have seen, the options are buying from Mr Valto, or buying Cworth batteries or Haisic batteries. Which will be the most cost-effective and reliable option? Yes, I want a cheaper option but also an option that won't make me regret a few years later due to the performance of the battery

Sorry for the long message

After successfully paying the port application fee, the next step is to print the acknowledgment slip and receipt, and schedule an appointment for biometric data capture.

Your data will be verified from the National Identity Database at the NIMC. So, your names, date of birth and gender must match exactly with the information provided on your Nigerian port application. Any discrepancies can cause delays or even rejection of your port application.

I hope your names, date of birth and gender match exactly with the information provided on your Nigerian port application.

Good morning, please, I will appreciate if you can also answer my question. My nin record has single in it but I got married recently and I did not see any option to change my marital status on the nimc website.

Can I go ahead to apply for my port even though my nin record says that I am single? Will there be an option to pick my marital status while inputting my data for the port application? Thanks for your anticipated response

Good morning all. I am planning on getting my port for myself and my wife. When I input my nin in the port portal, it shows my status as single because I was single when I did my nin. I tried changing it in the nin portal but there is no option to do that.

I just want to confirm if there will be an option to change it to married in the course of applying for the port on the portal or if I have to go and change my marital status to married first in my nin first

Good evening all. Pls, someone should answer me

Go with Scanfrost. I have a non inverter 250L Scanfrost freezer that draws a maximum of 160w. Freezer keeps everything frozen all day long after running for 8 hours daily (8am to 4pm)

I have been using the skyrun fridge for about 5 years now and also been using it with my inverter for over a year now. It consumes around 100w and even when I put it off around 11pm at night, the things in the freezer remain frozen even in the afternoon the next day

Are the cases still available?
Especially for the 8 pro

It is not. Tummy time should be closely monitored during day time

I mean at night. My hubby seems to believe that sleeping on his tummy makes him sleep deeper and reduces the chance of him waking up few minutes after putting him down

Good morning all. Is it safe to put my baby to sleep on his tummy at night? I read online that it is risky and increases the chances of suffocation and sids

Good evening all. I have a question. I already subscribed to the airtel 20 unlimited plan for January. I am thinking of subscribing for 6 months now. If I should subscribe today, will the 6months start counting from February after my January plan expires or the 6 months will supercede my January plan and start counting from January?

The digestive system of babies at that age is still forming hence the issues ing gas and pooing, it's common in babies. You can try massaging the baby's tummy lightly to help release the trapped gas and poo. (watch videos on how to do this and do it cautiously) If done well, the baby can poo and gas even while you are massaging. Also, watch what you eat as a breastfeeding mom, take lots of water and fruits as this will into the breastmilk and help soften the baby's poo. These techniques are what worked for me. As the baby grows older, the digestive system will mature as well and most issues will resolve.

Thanks a lot

Good morning all, my baby seems to be struggling with poo. He is gassy, strains a lot, raises his leg up towards his belly and his face turns red. This most times disturbs his sleep. Also, his stomach makes sound at times. Don't know if it is colic that is disturbing him.

Someone advised that we get nospamin while another recommended another drop, is this safe for a 6 weeks old baby? Cus I saw a few people on Facebook and twitter saying that both of them can have harmful effects on a baby
