Yes but I think it's still renewal but with change of name. I still had to show them my old port and get a letter of consent from my husband.

I've had to switch career and learnt a digital skill just to intentionally avoid people. I work from home now.

Thank you. I have submitted my application for a new port with change of name due to marriage. It was quite easy. I didn't have to go to Abuja and I paid #55,000 here in Lokoja. I also didn't change my name on my NIN, it was used like that bearing my maiden name and I was captured on the same day. They told me it will be out on or before six weeks.
People come from neighboring states to Lokoja to do their fresh port or renew. They give special treatment to people that did theirs online and you are captured the same day. Just be ready to wait for the six weeks for it to be out. Three weeks for renewal. My husband spent #41000 for himself and our two kids. I paid someone and I spent the whole day before I was captured. My husband and kids were out in 2 hours cos they did theirs online. Since they give special treatment to online people, why pay them?

I want to renew my expired port and change the name as I am now married. Please do I need my NIN to reflect the new name I want on my port? Do I need NIN for this process? If I go to Abuja office will I be attended to on the same day?

Please can NARIC certificate be used in other countries like the US and Finland? Also do I send my university transcripts directly to NARIC?
