is it my criticism that preventing nigeria from making progress?

meanwhile, the technologies you showed in the screenshot, can you tell me where they are already in use by the nigerian government?

what is the length of the border between Borno and Cameroon?

I don’t have to know the length of the border between Borno and Cameron to know it’s a do able project.

For your first question, do you want to tell me you know all technologies The military use?

Nigeria's Defence Chief, General Christopher Musa, has ignited a major debate by proposing a complete fence along Nigeria's borders with Cameroon, Niger, Chad, and Benin to combat escalating insecurity and the influx of armed groups like Boko Haram and ISWAP. Citing examples like Pakistan's fence with Afghanistan, he argues this is critical for Nigeria's survival and sovereignty. In this video, we break down this unprecedented proposal, analyzing the reasons behind it, the immense potential costs, logistical challenges, socio-economic impacts, and whether this controversial measure can truly solve Nigeria's deep-rooted security crisis. Is fencing the nation a viable strategy or a sign of desperation?

Even a house that is fenced is penetrated if proper security is not on ground. If NA makes Nigeria too hot for them terrorist even if Nigeria leaves boarders open they won't come in. NA has failed

Bunch of jokers...

Looking for another way to loot money, knowing fully well that it will not solve anything....

Meanwhile the sponsors of terrorism in Nigeria are in the government and in the military, and other security aparatus

Fence that can be easily breached or will you put a soldier or policeman every few meters to guard the fence? What a dumb idea, Nigeria cannot even afford it so this guy is just talking rubbish. Even America dare not fence their entire border, just sections of it.

Walls have been built forever, from Israel in Gaza which you , to the Great Wall of China, and the recent walls by Pakistan and other countries trying to protect themselves from foreign invaders and terrorists.

Nigeria seeks to do the same and you are full of bile because there is no love for this country in your heart.

So there's the door.

Yes, it’s very possible and I believe Nigeria can and will get the technologies.

You must have lost faith for your country, I still have faith in mine.

Technologies that haven't been used where they're most needed in health, education, fight against corruption, insecurity, etc, will suddenly be used in monitoring fenced borders?
Borders separating northerners from people theý believe are their brothers!
Fence that they'll pull down as it's being constructed?!

Well, you're free to waste your faith on something you know will never happen.

A Nigeria that cannot take care of her unfenced borders despite the huge influx of migrants and criminals will never suddenly begin to monitor it after managing to fence it.

I don't know how old you are and if you're being moved by sentiments, but i have been in this world for over 40yrs to know what can and what cannot happen in Nigeria

When they arrest you now to point out the 'sponsors of terrorism' in the government, you will start squealing like a rabbit for your 'human rights'.

Your being over 40 doesn't mean you know what you're talking about.

You have no idea what technology will be deployed or even the nature of materials to be used for the fencing - all of which will determine the level of monitoring that will be required.

You know none of the details. All you know is that ''because it is Nigeria, it won't work''.

That's all you have to offer.

So your presence here is pretty much useless.

I now know you're talking not even out of experience, but out of sheer gullibility.
They never even promised you of any monitoring.
They only talked about fencing, which they won't even be able to do.
Then, you added monitoring with technologies, as someone who is yet to understand anything about the country!

It's your type that wasted their 8yrs hoping on a dumb fellow like bühari to transform the country overnight, just because he said so.

Well you are free to be pessimist, it’s your right no doubt but I choose to have faith in my country. I am almost 50 and I have seen changes happening in the country and yes I optimistic that more changes are coming.

For the technologies, you can only speak on what you know.
