Governor Mbah commends immigration officer who apprehended runaway suspected ritualist

The Governor of Enugu State, Dr. Peter Mbah, has commended immigration officer, Prince Orji Ugochukwu for his exemplary conduct in apprehending the prime suspect in the recent gruesome incident that occurred in Umumba, Ezeagu Local Government Area of the state.

The suspect was intercepted by Officer Ugochukwu while attempting to flee the country through a Nigerian border post.

The Governor, who received Ugochukwu at the Government House, Enugu, Monday, praised him for his bravery, integrity, and sense of duty.

Taking to his verified X (formerly Twitter) handle, @PNMbah, Governor Mbah shared: “I was delighted to receive Prince Orji Ugochukwu, the immigration officer who apprehended the prime suspect in the gruesome incident that occurred in Ezeagu, while the suspect was attempting to flee across the Nigerian border.”

Governor Mbah lauded the officer’s moral courage and professionalism during a moment that tested his character.

“Ugochukwu has distinguished himself as a man of integrity who, when faced with a test of character, chose duty over personal gain and upheld the honour of his uniform,” the Governor stated.

“His actions reflect the very spirit of service we strive to instil in our institutions.”

Describing Ugochukwu as a role model for both his colleagues and the general public, Governor Mbah emphasized the importance of such conduct in building a society grounded in justice and ability.

“He is indeed a worthy role model, and we greatly appreciate his effort,” the Governor added.

Gov. Mbah should also and reward those village vigilantes that rescued the girl without them nobody would have known what was secretly going on in the house of the native doctor.

As encouragement, what of other political officers holders who are ritualist, killed directly or indirectly?.

He's an immigration officer and he's serving in Ogun state or Lagos state

They should promote him aswell transfer him to somewhere safe .To do good in this country at times comes with grievous reward.
Please protect the young lad ,we need someone like him in the near future leading the immigration
