Why is the Delta State government always using brutal force to suppressing peaceful protest in the state? Same thing they did during the October 1st protest. The people of Ndokwa & Ukwani LGA's re planning to protest for being in darkness for over 16yrs plus now, and what we re hearing is treats to stop the protest. Please I beg the state governor, his Excellency honorable sheriff oborowori to address the issues that is making the people to protest so as to stop innocent people from dieing...

It's heartbreaking to see the people of Abraka, especially students and young residents, forced to protest daily just to demand the basic right to safety. That unarmed protesters were allegedly met with gunfire instead of protection is deeply troubling. These are not criminals — they are citizens crying out for help after countless kidnappings. The authorities must listen, not silence them. We stand with Abraka in their demand for justice, safety, and a real solution to this terrifying wave of abductions. Enough is enough."

Fulani herdsmen are wrecking havoc in Abraka and it's environs and the Police is helpless. They are afraid to confront the herdsmen. The Army too is reluctant. If the community tries to defend itself the Army will swoop on them with full force. Same thing is currently happening in Auchi in Edo State. Kidnapping and killings daily. 1 Like 1 Share |

The story would have been different if the police bothered to use just half of the force expended on these innocent protesters on the kidnappers. That should tell you a lot about what is going on in this country but helinues and co will rather spout propaganda than place value on the lives of their fellow Nigerians
