The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, says any attempt by any political party to rig the November 11 governorship election in Imo State will be strongly resisted.

According to the PDP, all electoral indicators have shown that it would dislodged the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Imo State and win the election.

Addressing newsmen on Tuesday in Abuja, the PDP National Publicity Secretary, Debo Ologunagba, explained that Governor Hope Uzodinma and his party, the APC, would not enjoy the of the citizens of the state in the forthcoming governorship election.

He said that the APC knows that it does not have the mandate of the people, stressing that Governor Uzodinma has no visible organic base in any part of Imo State, .ng reports.

He added that the Governor had never won any election because he is detached from the people, including in his home, Orlu zone.

He claimed that, “The indicators are clear and the November 11, 2023 election will not be different.
“Governor Uzodinma will not win in any polling unit in a free, fair and transparent election because Imo people have found a credible, sincere, humane and approachable leader in Senator Anyanwu.”

If there's a free and fair election, this election would be between LP and PDP. Hope Uzodinma stands no chance in this guber election.

By the way, I like that Peter Obi is campaigning for Agu Otu Aka of LP. That's adding flavour to his campaign.

Someone who came fourth in an election and was installed as governor by the supreme court cannot win another election. Orlu zone which has the voting power because of its population will not vote for Hope Uzodinma. Where is he expected to get his votes from?

On a free, fair and transparent election, Uzodinma will not win.

Hope uzodinma led the APC to win 27 seats in the last house of assembly elections, won majority of the house of reps seats and two senate seats. It's foolishness and self deceit to think he won't clear the polls in his own election. The man has no contest in this election. But anyone is free to delude himself as usual.

People who don't base in Imo commenting that Uzodinma will be defeated.

Since inception of democracy, Uzodinma has performed better than Udenwa, Ohakim, Rochester combined.

Uzodinma tried very well on infrastructure, Heakthcare, Education and civil servants welfare.

No past governor can match Uzodinma. I think he deserves a second term.

Only the bitter souls filled with hate are speaking ill of uzodinma.

But I can bet all, that none of the candidate can defeat Uzodinma except the form alliance and contest with one candidate.
