When it comes to football, Ethiopia is a growing child whereas Nigeria is an established adult. Please let's show them what the spirit of true sportsmanship is. Beat them in the game, entertain them in the evenings and let there be peace. |

"she needed 200k from her ex for her traditional wedding" Sounds like a girl and money he should quickly forget about. The fact that she had the presence of mind to purloin 200k in such a circumstance possibly indicates her predisposition to debauchery! 1 Like |

Why would I be surprised about the ills of the Nigerian banks? Its been going on for a pretty long time. I worked for of of the top 3 banks for 7 months and made up my mind to quite even before I got my current job. It was a great decision to leave as I currently earn maybe 6 times more, enjoy my work life better and have way more peace than I ever experienced in the banking industry. I would say I am glad I went through it so I could stop my wife from making the same mistake. If you never worked in the banks, you have no idea. If you did but didn't experience the hell, you are one lucky chap! 1 Like |

Sentiments and opinions aside, this is the pure truth about the landmass called Nigeria. Just a boiling pot of stupidity. I knew I had seen that name before! Tim.......yes he truly lived in Nigeria(Lagos, Eleme and Abuja) and worked with a few colleagues in the industry. 1 Like |

debosky: coal is the cheapest fossil fuel around and will be here long after crude oil and natural gas are gone, the S/E States and Kogi will do well to start to free themselves from the burdens of gas fired power stations linked to the 'Niger Delta' (either political, geographical or otherwise) oil and gas supply issues. Coal is not certainly the cheapest form of fossil fuel as cost of production is a very variable composite in energy development. If you factor in elements like cost of labor, geographic location of reserves, asset security, proximity to market, readily available alternatives, existing infrastructure and government policies, you would immediately see the big picture. If you step back further to factor in the need to live in a cleaner world, you would be shocked that wind, solar and geothermal, although not fossil based are already cheaper in certain parts of the world depending on how you compare. It's bad enough that we are late to the game. We should at least get it right! Sustainable energy development is the solution. |

It's what they signed up for. Let them face the reality. I in 1998 when one seemed to have a target of getting me on board. I just summoned the courage and told him I couldn't like everything and just like smoking, I believed cultism wasn't okay for me. Ekosodin was like hell then. These guys used to invade the rooms of "offending females". one night a female student cried hell while she was molested and the notion was, "she knows what she did". You would hear but could do nothing if you still needed your life. Then, a car would stop and guys with guns would ask a girl to get in. These things happened down to BDPA and Osasogie. You would even get harassed for not helping out a guy in the exam hall, so I started sitting in front to write the little I knew peacefully. They sometimes invaded the study centers at night and the next morning you would see blood spills from unfortunate victims. Some just ran out of precaution or fear but ended up hurting themselves. As far back as then, bike men were already cult . This was common knowledge. One night on my way from a study session, I ran into them in the fields. I couldn't see faces and I made sure I looked down. Then one of them said "leave that engineering book boy. Clean slates no maga, even if e no gree " I am not sure I feel confident to allow my kids live through such.......you could be gone by just offending the wrong idiot. 1 Like |
