I feel diz way too...bt my own issue is I usually contemplate on the definition of the word "friend" in my head is "friend" someone you know maybe people in your department or someone you share your secrets with , if it is secret I hardly share any personal info with anyone..so I guess I don't hv any which has never been an issue

I strongly disagree with u OP, surely the personality has its downside such as the thinking loop and others bt that doesn't make it a bad personality. What about the self-altruism attribute relating to such personality , the listening ear attribute of such personality, the self strength and moral booster ....introvert does necessarily need to be taught much because of their creative, self-consciousness or observant attribute.....they are highly intellectual just that their brain tends to shut down in a very busy environment... OP there is other good attribute to diz personality.... It is only the social strength that is a bit challenging

When people lack social skills, and suffer from social anxiety coupled with shyness, they'll come online to claim introverts. You're not an introvert, you just need therapy.

in share thesame view with you on this. introversion is a big disadvantage to anybody. U cant socialise properly, cant express yourself u cant figureout intresting things to say that make people laugh, u'll rather prefere being left alone that being in the company of othes socializin. introversion sucks but something can be done about it

don't hate yourself, I'm an Introvert well I'm more of an Ambivert Now because I gotta Make money and to Make mOney you have to talk with people it's so exhausting annoying and energy draining but f*ck man's gotta survive especially in this Nigeria who cares about introvert especially if you are a dude na wahala be your name so back to the Topic there's a difference between been alone and been Lonely which one are you? don't hate yourself that's your personality make it known to yourself that you are perfectly ok and Man up and get things done, I know what I'm saying it took me years to get over, fear of Poverty is the greatest Motivation.

Your problem is not being an introvert per say but being broke/poor, and being an introvert makes it worst. It's a bitter truth.

Do you have money?
If not, go an find something doing/learn a trade/ get an online skill preferably. That's the solution.

If you do, this what to do. Every weekend, load like 500 naira airtime and call 10 persons in your s. After two times, some will start reciprocating, some will start caring and friendship starts.

But the problem is that the friendship may die fast, you start to loose interest and wanting a new thing.


I love playing chess and watching football. So, l go to bars for them and you will see like minds. Just be open there as much as you can. That's what my weekend is about. Find your hubby and always dress good.

Women don't bother me but if na woman bi your wahala, with money, you can solve it.

l think the greatest disadvantage of this our nature is that introverts have their strength in their head than their body which is bad in present day Nigeria where hustling is the "key" than intellectual property.

Take a clue at Mike Adenuga. Excellent entrepreneur. Do you hear or see him in public even among billionaire gathering?. l read he pays newspapers not to publish anything about him. He is my model.

What have you done to help yourself?

I'm an introvert too and a core one at that, i could stay indoors for months without seeing the daylight. [Since i have what i needed for survival]

My social life got worse and it was really affecting my esteem, i had no choice than to switch some traits

I work on the internet though [fiverr] and this contributed to my loneliness but i got it figured out since i started doing these

1. ed at a nearby gym. Trust me, you will learn how to socialize [it helps], i make gym friends and trust me, i regretted not doing that earlier.

But be careful who you deal with, i only make gym friends, it takes several proofs and convictions before i could make "normal normal " friends. I'm that bad and i do not regret it


2. Freelancing friends

I have lots of them, depending on the nature of what you do, there are similar minded people you can interact with, trust me, you will feel comfortable conversing with someone with similar interests


You could find them online within your locals

This helps so so well



3. Game. I love Play station,only God know the number of people i have had playing games with them. Find what you love doing, man, you will find people who will like you and want to interact with you.

Recently, i have been thinking of including other sport (basketball on Saturday)

Im enjoying my introversion and i love it that way.





Bottling Emotions

I used to do that alot trust me, some people are good at seeing your weak points will use that against you

When you keep mute toward expressing your feelings, some people think you are foolish

see man, regardless of your temperament, there are always things to fix. Nobody is perfect, not even the extroverts.

I usually make my feelings known to anyone around me and will always let them know i love my space no matter what, and i should be treated with respect. Cos i will treat you the same.

I snub people easily, yes when i study you and realize you wont respect my space. I no like wahala. That doesnt mean i wont exchange greetings when necessary.


Start today, start letting people know what makes you feel bad, dont let them step on your toes.

Introversion is cool when you have principles.
