Hello fellow nairalanders and business men, I was at the verge of making my first million naira early this year but I got carried away by the euphoria and made some bad investments which later backfired and left me bankrupt... However, I'm recuperating now, and I just wanted to know at what age you guys made your first million naira and how you did it or the investments you made.

This is just to serve as a motivation to our young and brothers and sisters still in the labor market struggling to make ends meet.

I play safe, which made my financial babies come in little by little.

But after expansion, it was easy going from 1 to 2.

Made my first million at 25,doing dropshipping of mobile phones from aliexpress,my biggest hurdle at first was how I could make payments and how i could get lots of clients.

hmm okay then, tho mine is not really something I'll advice anyone to go into, it was the foreign exchange and sports analysis market. (very volatile)

I started with about 20k as capital and then grew it so much that I even began to question myself...i was really that good but then as is always the case I decided to leave my comfort zone (usual technique and strategy) to try out something new... This was the beginning of my downfall.

First I started with marketing... I set it up while working full time. It took over a year to make $50.

The aim is to keep expenses to the barest minimum while working hard.

Once it started gaining traction. I veered off into blogging and started selling information products.

It wasn't hard to start earning $600 monthly.

I dived into Amazon kindle publishing...

End result was that within 6 months just clocking 25, I was there...

Then I already gain traction. Everything is now automated...

I still kept my 7 - 4 job.

The aim is to keep expenses very low. Do away liabilities like phones, shoes and new clothes and reinvest profit

I don't have any liquid assets, I love making my profits myself and saving the others.

I didn't really depend so much on the cash though so I had much of it saved away in my s.

After about 3 consecutive years in school, I had a net balance of a mill plus.

I guess I got paid for studying.
