MIUI 12.5 is MIUI 12. 5.

anyone with a value less than .5 are all updates and fixes on MIUI 12.0

Also note that even if you are on 12.0.20 and you are to be updated to new Android version the counter goes back to 12.0.1 only difference is the alphabet on the Phone ROM code changes.

E.g Q for Android 10 changes to R if you are getting upgraded to Android 11
