lol.well I have been coding on both back and front end. I can tell you that both have same degree of complexity depending on the actual task that is been performed. back end gets higher pay because of low supply of back end developers. everybody just dey for front end

In fact that your example is actually the reverse u backend developers are actually the shoe shiner and we the frontend developers are the shoemaker coz we create the product while u people just come from nowhere to just come and be updating one yeye database and throwing request from one place to another place base on CRUD in fact u guys are the shoe shiner

It is possible to build a fully functional average back-end application in a day, especially if you have built similar features several times before, but to build the front-end for the backend application will take longer. Lol. Bootstrap? Bootstrap is cool for deg basic responsive web pages. Bootstrap can only do much. If you’ve implement complex custom designs, you’ll agree the 12-column bootstrap grid system can only do much. Have you worked on online gaming platforms? Have you played soccer online ? do you think you’d do that with bootstrap? Have you seen crazy animations and dynamic pages? You think libraries like React and Frameworks like Angular offer out of the box capabilities?


Backend for me is mostly rinse and repeat. If you are good at code modularization, you’ll be able to re-use a lot of backend codes.

I’ve worked on both “ends”. You can’t work in Andela without a full grasp on both technologies

So completely unrelated, if say you want to learn on your own with YouTube, freecodecamp and other resources, which is more easier to grasp. Front end or back end. Just a beginner with ambitions make una no drag me o, instead use the energy to point me in right direction. Thanks in advance.

I’m a full stack developer and I’ll tell you though I enjoy fronted more, it a bit tougher.

Most backend codes are re-usable across several other projects. You can’t say the same for Front end. interfaces look different and some UI have crazy designs and effects that you have to implement from scratch


I can write a full bank end application in a single day - but I can’t build a front end with all the pages in a single day

Moreover, it’s a fallacy that backend developers earn higher

You can also build your own resuable frontend css library... Bootstrap, Tailwind etc also removes a lot of work

I'm not saying frontend is a work in the park but backend is more complex and carry more risk if something goes wrong. The higher pay is justified

Have you ever integrated a payment gateway, have you ever hosted a website on a live server, I'm not talking static websites now.

Business logic is overrated. At the end of the day, it boils down to writing CRUDs.

There's a 2019 version which is the most recent I can lay my hands on. So what exactly do you want to accomplish. Looks like you installed a trial version and uninstalled it after the time trial expired planning to reinstall it again to get another 14/30 day trial. Not gonna work. When you install software in Windows, some entries are made into somewhere called the Registry. Uninstalling using Windows does not delete the entries made to the registry. You have to use specialised software for a clean uninstall. Since you have already previously uninstalled it I don't know that the crack would work even if you do a clean uninstall. My advice would be to clean your registry, then the 2019 version with crack and install and crack it.
