Hello nairalander!

Unknown someone keeps sending money to my diamond access bank, this is the second time am recieving money to my , which is 30,290 & 30,136 naira and the text on the remark is a foreign name.

At first i got alert of 30,260 with remark "Stepan zemalek", at first i thought someone mistakenly sent money to my , i said lemme wait if i will receive a call from someone claiming the money but nobody called to claim the money, not knowing that my bank have deducted 530 naira for sms fee nd 200 naira for stamp nd postal fee, i have to transfer the money the money to my rubies bank with the hope somebody will call me nd claim the money.

Secondly, i got another alert of 30,136 with the remark saying "Jaonna LiebeltEtzler/18.9.20".

I dont giving anybody my bank details apart from my mom nd uncles, i have called my bank customer care to complain about it and to know who sent the money from my but he said he cant disclose the information to me. i have complained to the bank and the keep saying their normal bla bla.

I need help on what to do next....below is the screenshot of the alert...

I will advise you don't keep cool with it, rather escalate it to your bank head office with a worded letter, because if EFCC trace such transaction to you, you can be termed accomplice with an insider in the bank who is trying to steal from a deceased of money laundering stuffs.

Please escalate this issue now before you start getting story that touches the heart. Just as CORDROSS posted, Send a mail to the corporate complaints mail of your bank detailing everything including the response from the customer care agent (for all i care, he/she may be aiding and abating the criminal responsible for the issue on your ), do well to copy the CBN via [email protected] or you can choose to file an online complaint via this https://www.cbn.gov.ng/s/Complaints/

Sorry I couldn't respond to your quoted message, my here is new and some restrictions have been placed on it.

As regards your quoted response, you can keep on trying and if it's still the same, try the first option of sending a mail to the complaints mail of your local bank copying "[email protected]" I.e. Include it as Cc in the mail.

The money is coming from a foreign country, it's best you try to recollect who you gave your details to.
For now, I don't think there will be any issue or complaint from your bank yet... Until maybe when the payment tends to increase... The bank will eventually flag your for fraud.

Don't keep the money, try engaging your bank the more.

Because of the day EFCC go trace your linked to a scam.


For next time, don't touch it. Leave it in same , transferring to another means you are already opening a can of worms.

Since you have reported, just make sure that you screenshot all your messages incase anything happens in the future.

And have this thread handy for future reference.

Ensure your complaints to the bank are well documented.
Also keep the CBN in cc....

It may be a money laundering scheme, don't be surprised if you receive calls months later telling you to withdraw/transfer to the supposed owner.

They will promise you a share.
