I'm a newbie and I would like to the FTA team. I have the DStv dish already hooked up and all. I'm about getting the a decoder. I dont want something too expensive but I can get quality from.. Good American and African movies, cartoons, music, sport and all in at least HDMI quality. Who can give me some decoder recommendation that wouldn't be more than 7-10k?

I checked Jumia and saw these 2:
(1) TigerStar T245+ Lazer
(2) Strong HD SRT 4954

Please which is the best to go for and any more recommendation would be welcomed!!

Sorry oooo, if you also have the decoder you want to use presently and other things, LNB, cable. Your price should not be more than 5k (let's say you are not tracking more than 1 or 2 simple FTA sats)

My brother 20k is not too much for 3-4 sitelite plus if the guy want to get you H.265 and multistream complaints Decoder.
Some installer will tell you to bring 12k but ask them which decoder are they getting for you.

Thank you for clarification my brother. If the installer is very close to you, he may consider reducing the charges but in of materials needed for the job, no two ways about it. You need to pay for them or you get them ready. Installer must take something home as you said in the post

..Most at times,difficult depepending on if, 60cm.So if, yours is 60cm maybe,try more hardy,Or make 16 primary and 28 second i think more better.cheers

C sat C8 shouldn't be upto 15k now.

Also Strong Srt 497s is 17k is also H265 complaint, it's the best strong decoder in the African market rn

Csat c8 pro+ is btw 9k-12k.... but make Sure it is pro+ cox there is ordinary pro.
