(Dow Jones) -- 07:30 ET - US stock futures trade lower to close out the week as investors await a number of economic reports that will show the effects the coronavirus shutdowns are having on consumers and business. April retail sales are expected to dive 12.3% at 8:30am ET following the closure of non-essential stores. Industrial production figures at 9:15am will offer yet another indication of the sharp economic downturn on business. The University of Michigan's preliminary consumer sentiment survey for May is due at 10am. Treasury's extend recent gains, pushing the 10-year yield down to 0.6%,. S&P futures fall 20 points.

You are very correct, regretted the two occasions where I made a trade before the market opened, since then no matter how bad or good the pre market looks I wait 5 to 10 mins after market opens to make a decision

Another canna stock I bought earlier was Tilray, I exited after 100% gain and the stock still went ahead to do an additional 100% after I sold(making 200% before a reversal). I'm going to enter again if it gets to $4 - $5 range.

It has done about 400% since its March low.

What do you guys think about shorting Zoom (ZM)? I think the stock might be overpriced since it's COVID that's really fuelling its upswing in cash flows. Robinhood doesn't allow shorting, does any one have an idea of the right platform to short?

Try ing them to grant you access, if they say you don't have much experience, just keep trading stocks on their platform for now. You can now proceed to opening an with TD Ameritrade, but make sure you don't select you are a new investor. TD Ameritrade charges $0.65 per option contract.

But honestly, read and watch instructional videos about options trading. It is very very risky and one of the fastest ways to lose money. TD Ameritrade has a paper if you want to practice strategies first before actually trading a live . I know Zoom (ZM) is overvalued, but investors are piling into covid winner stocks so it may go against you. Worst of all, shorting this thing is too damn expensive and if the stock keeps rising, you can lose 100% of your money in a blink of an eye.

I find this very informative. Thanks so much. I just ed Robinhood and I've made my first trade. I've ed TD Ameritrade but haven't ed. Now I know that I have to say that I'm an "experienced trader" just to have access to more trading options.

Sometimes America has a way of doing things. Are you telling me there is no control built around the system? Most times they have problems with anyone dragging power with them in any continent in my opinion.

If not like back then why will they hold the CFA exam in Ghana and not hold in Nigeria even though most of the population in Ghana were from Nigeria?
