The Lagos explosion at the Ado-Soba axis of Abule-Ado, Amuwo Odofin LGA of Lagos has claimed properties as human lives lost are still unconfirmed.

The Bethlehem Girls College, one of the buildings almost totally razed down, is a girls-only private, boarding educational institution situated at the Abule-Ado Festac extension end, spanning about 3.722 hectares.

It is owned by the Catholic Archdiocese of Lagos and started its operation in September of 2012.
Students got injured during the rescue.

I live close to the explosion. A whole family got burnt to death in their car while they were about to drive out of their house to the church

Mheen! Thought there's an effective plan by Jonathan istration for effective monitoring of the pipe lines. Thats one bad thing of Nigeria government. Ditching previous istration plans. My sincere condolences to the affected people.

Investigation is really needed here. One can't ascertain what cause is, I perceived poor maintenance of pipelines and negligence, otherwise vandals or bomb to the pipe.
