You cant blame students for been desperate, this AD issue is not done fairly (Congrats that the guy got an AD) but what about students in the same category that booked earlier and used april or march as starting date.

AD seems not to be first come first serve but given randomly which makes the whole process even more frustrating. The Embassy should be more transparent on how the selection process works.

Everyone here is fighting for themselves but doesnt mean they dont wish others well

Need a candid response to these questions please.

I applied for embassy interview/appointment for summer class beginning 1st April 2020 on the 16th of December 2019 under category A because I had second class upper degree (2.1) but am yet to be scheduled for an appointment :

1. Am I really under the right category with 2.1?

2. Heard embassy made some changes as regards to visa application which I can't find on their site, can someone through more light on those changes or provide a link to it on their site?

3. Is someone with 2.1 who graduated in 2016 still eligible for category A under the new changes?

4. Is it advisable to embassy via email or ☎ as regards to this since I was told to refrain from that from the mail I got after registration.

5. Is it also wise to cancel and reapply? If yes, how do I go about that.

6. Is this whole thing a mistake on my part as regards to the option I chose or just the way they delay?

I don’t live in Magdeburg. As a student u re only allowed to work 20hr/Week, but working 20hrs/Week will disrupt ur studies during ur first year. Most students take up minijob of 450Euros per month which is 8hr/Week depending on how much u earn per hr.

To obtain or renew ur residence permit, u re required to provide BA maybe not up to 4.2m but u have to show something and what u have in ur might determine how long ur residence permit would extended.

Living experience in DE is amazing doesn’t matter where u re.

I made the same mistake you made when I initially applied. You can cancel your appointment if not you won't be interviewed because you will be judged as providing false information. Go to the embassy's site. Fill the form and State your situation. You will be responded to after 7 working days . All the best bro

no u cant it is prolly stated that a bachelor's degree of 2.1 or 1st class not latter than 2018...BACHELOR DEGREE!!!

Why don't u confirm from the embassy If u have 2018 Pgd and is above 60%.

Note: Pgd is higher than bsc.

Within 3 days the money will drop into your Fintiba Block provided there are no hitches from the Bank you are making the transfer from........you will also get Confirmation Email with some Documents too immediately........that’s all.
