What Jarus said is true.2017 I was really unemployed.Just finished my MSc and was hyped to come home and start working.After numerous applications I got a message from Seplat for first online test.You know how you over read for your first job stuff.I hyper read.I ed and 2018 I was called to Lagos for next stage of aptitude test.I flew all the way from Yola to Lagos.Gladly my folks helped with the money.I wrote the exams and travelled to Abuja Pending when I was called back for the Job.I was called but then this stage was called assessment centre.I was hoping it was the last so I read like mad again travelled did my thing and got back to Abj.This time I knew I did really well so I was just hoping for APL.so I went home to Yola waiting for APL.I saw success message “you have ed to the next stage”.In my mind I was like stage again.This was the final interview stage, I went there and did my best as usual.This last time wasn’t to be it.i wasn’t called.Four stages nothing.Money spent and nothing.It was a sad period,I was really down.The process gave me confidence and knowledge that the worst that can happen in interviews is you not getting it but not you not making it in life.I have changed 2 good jobs and refused a managerial position at a bank.
Please if you haven’t gotten APL.It simply means God has other plans.People that have aren’t better.I still hope some get.

So... I was lowkey hoping I got the mail. But I missed out afterall,� after monitoring this thread for months since the CBT. However, I might have turned it down because I got a straight PhD (without MSc) in Chemistry in the USA, fully funded. I also believe there are several others that received and would turn it down, if only NNPC can replace them fairly, a couple of people that merit this would take the position.

To the ones left with no option, you are still champs! Never joke with self development. Take online courses, there are a handful of scholarships for the taking!

I might have missed out on the sweet NNPC oyel money but I'm definitely not missing out in receiving dollars as stipend.

My advice: When it becomes very obvious that NNPC ain't sending any more mails, MOVE ON! , There's "hope" and there's "obsession/depression". Don't allow yourself to face latter.

It's not easy, but what will a man do? Depression and sadness won't help salvage the situation. Though with a heavy heart to have received this great shock partaining to the loss of nnpc apl, I say we move on. For now, nnpc has been my highest bid, but I think i have to go on and pursue other things. God helping, in no distant time, I will visit this thread again and smile for we've all moved on.

Though to some, they may never get anything better like nnpc apl, that's the sad but basic truth, but to us, we'll strive, we'll keep on with the good fight, to better ourselves and become better than we were and then, if ever we'll come to nnpc, it won't be as GTs but EHs who will, like Oga Jarus, contemplate either ing or not coz where we are seems better...
