Please who has used Ethiopian air. I intend to book with them as they are the cheapest so far. Are there any down sides to using them? Please awaiting response urgently.

For newly landed PR's in the GTA (especially Brampton & it's environs) that need a survival job, kindly me...the job is not so difficult, it just involves a lotta standing like most warehouse jobs in canada. Awesome benefit packages as well...A ing bonus of $1500 on startup, $15.75per hr day rate and $16.20 night rate. My mail is captainmichaelo@gmaildotcom.

P.s
write me only if u are in the GTA
U need a not so stressful survival job to pay the bills
U are ready to work asap PENDING when u get your dream job
Will give my nos wen I'm sure that u r here already and will help with the onboarding process.
Cheers.

Goodday everyone
I've been thinking of other career paths just in case I'm not interested in qualifying as a lawyer just yet.

I'm interested in blue collar jobs because I get the sense that they might be more lucrative financially than some white collar jobs and possibly the field of opportunity may be wider. Note Legal Assistant courses are not relevant to this query as I have that figured out somehow.

I would love your suggestions on any of these areas that I can train and qualify in. I don't mind going to college.

N.B. I understand that the research on this issue belongs to me and I'm not trying to the responsibility to of the forum. Just seeking leads and links

I don't know about law, but I would think the amount of time spent in college could be equal or same to that you would spend in clearing your exams/obstacles to practice as a lawyer.
I don't know what sort of blue collar job will fit your profile. I know some lawyers do work in banks and other financial institutions (AML/Regulatory Risk) atleast till they qualify to practice in Canada. Some colleges offer a certificate in AML/Compliance e.g Seneca in Ontario.
As per blue collar, there are lots and much will depend on your interest. The good paying ones will require attending a trade school.

You should start evaluating your degree(s), possibly before you do ielts, because it takes longer. You can use WES, IQAS or ICES - check the thread and other sister threads for recommendations

Hi,

I have quick follow up questions with respect to that lawyer trying to find out about openings. My wife is a lawyer and will be ing me in Canada. While waiting to her bar exams she obviously will want to be doing sthg profitable and professional that can help. Can you suggest jobs or titles she should be searching for that might help her during this period of trying to take the bar exam. Current lawyers from Nigeria working in another field, or lawyers waiting also doing some other jobs with transferable knowledge can also chip in and offer some suggestions which will be well appreciated

I always tell my people the Canadian society is negro proof. Whatever shady/ illegal nonsense you try in naija, don't try in Canada. People who aren't qualified for express entry are using the school route to try to enter canada. The Canadian government isn't stupid.

So what qualifies one to get the visa? I just graduated and i want to go for masters. Is it too hard to ask?

I think you are on the wrong thread. You should be on the student thread.

True!

It really is a serious matter.

Between January and May 2019, 81% of study permit applications from Nigeria were refused! see here. That is, 8 out of 10 applications rejected!

The hustle to leave Nigeria is real!
Unfortunately, genuine students are also affected embarassed
