nope the A10s is just an improvement in camera and battery and a downgrade in processor, uses an MTK helio P22(12nm) against the A10 Exynos 7884
So performance wise it pales, i did a speed test with a friend that recently bought an A10s with my A10.

I have to contend with two of them.(ladies borrowing my phone for shots and asking me to.send them on whatsapp or xender) i was suprised cos i had great respect for xiaomi but check twice more

Some of us love the "old school" cos you can use any of your four fingers conveniently , unlike the on-screen that restrics you to the thumb for comfort.
The hybrid sim thing can be made negligible..... With an hybrid sim adapter

Just how there are levels to amoled and SOCs, there are levels to on screen fp.
