Please guys I have been trying to flash TWRP to my RN7, but it's not working.
At first, after flashing, I was being asked to put (I had to wipe data to by this, and my phone came back as if it's a brand new phone).
I used another method of flashing, but after following the process, still it will not take me to the TWRP reboot.
Please guys in the house help me out abeg.

NB: I am using REDMI NOTE 7 (Chinese version)

Have you tried booting into twrp by using the buttons (power and volume+ together) and not by command immediately after flashing the recovery.img?

Personally, I will choose the Redmi 7 for the following reasons:

Android 9 out of the box
Better SOC, with a better U albeit same GPU
Larger screen
Widespread availability of the global version
Smaller, "dew drop" notch
Dual 4G capability
Camera2api enabled, for easy Gcam installation

Reasons to choose the Redmi 6 pro:
Gyroscope
FHD+ resolution (2280 x 1080) vs HD+
Metal build vs plastic build

They both have dedicated microSD card slots, and 4000mAH batteries (although the lower screen resolution on the Redmi 7 will favour it).

In all honesty, I don't think you can get a better value for the price of the RN7. I would have gotten one for myself if not that my Lenovo k5 pro is less than 2 months.
