I applied to Canada Feb 14 at vfs lagos(paper application), got a scholarship for Ph.D degree and am to resume April. I want to track my application, really don't know how to link my in other to track it via CIC site and I also had about the Nairobi guys...I sincerely pray for God's favour, grace and speed to shine on our applications. This is very wrong I.e the example you gave. If you're on a visiting visa in any country, you cannot apply for visa from there. The only instance you can apply for visa from a foreign country is if : you have a residence permit. Or work permit. Other than that. They will reject you based on immigration status in country of residence.

I don't think the bolded information is correct. Someone on a visitor's visa can apply to Canada from the UK? Please can you share the link to this on CIC website? I would love to see the link. Thank you.

I don’t want to be banned oo but I was like i don’t know what the agent submitted and I don’t know any of the information now because the agent lost his Lapi the very day I went to submit. How can I get the infor back?
but nothing like banned in my refusal letter.

You can get SOP samples on Google and u can also read through the thread to get necessary info since u will be doing the reapplying on your own

Yes they do background checks on your application..

If you were denied a visa, the letter that showed your were denied will contain the information if you were banned...Peace!

Well...if u don't want to include the msc den, why not go for another masters if u had 2.1 in your Bsc or PGD if it was 2.2..from Wat period to wat period were u out of a job...lemme know how to help u

Also, if you have a study visa which is a just a temporary visa, you can apply from that country.

You need to look for samples that are not on sale...just read and get the point behind writing the SOP and LOE(letter of explanation of your previous rejection) ...wen u were denied, didn't the agent give u a letter to show u were denied...?

If u are reapplying with an entirely new ission letter and a different school, u need to let them...plus why get another ission wen u could just deffer the former to September

Once you have PR, citizenship, study visa, work permit of any country, you can apply from that country for a visa to another country. The exception is for those on Visitors visa.

I was on study visa (BRP) in the UK when I applied for my Canadian study permit.

please i need some clarification,i i just finished my under graduate in russia and i am planning to apply from russia for a canadian study permit, i currently have 10 months left on my study visa in russia. i'm i eligible to apply from here based on this ?
