I personally do advise anyone who buys phone from us or changed screen with us not to add screen glass protector cos at the end of the day, it's the glass protector that will chook the LCD inside and get it damaged.

Don't get discouraged about Samsung bro, their screen is expensive cos they don't sell it to 3rd parties .

Also it is amoled screen. Made with plastic. The polarizer is also flexible which makes it fragile.

The whole screen itself is more of elastic rubbers.

As shown below.

I already got discouraged. This is my last Samsung s7edge and I'm off to iPhone. It's back is already cracked and yesterday it wanted to fall again and I as I was struggling to Make sure it didn't fall I found a little line down below the screen glass hardly noticeable

A nairaland fixed his back glass only yesterday and cleaning.

I have an ordinary s8 (Nigeria version) screen is totally green/white glass is cracked in both front and back I think water is in the screen also it's orchid grey
so
1.how much to replace the entire screen 2.is it possible to change the back color from grey to black? 3.if yes how much is everything in total

1. You have to change the entire screen. Brand new cost #90,000 And #10,000 for fixing , might be China though as Samsung doesn't release out it's screen. We sell used, fully clean and removed from original Samsung phone at #75,000 in total plus fixing.

2. Yes sir, we can change back cover for you, also we can customise it in such a way people will think it was specially made for you.

3. Plus back cover will be #80,000 in total.


We can also buy the phone from you that way at #30,000.

If not manageable, then you have to risk it.


Samsung didn't produce it's phone for repairs.


It's IC is not covered, whereas other phones, even china phone IC is covered with nylon.

But Samsung ic is rather covered with a portion of it's frame, so when the LCD is removed from the frame, anything can happen to it.

I really don't know if it's hardware or software issue, because it the fingerprint stopped working after I rooted the phone and I've flashed the stock firmware but not working still, also the color on the fingerprint is scratched so it reveals the scanner.
That's why I want to change it, but since you said it's too risk to change.
