Ebonyi Governor spoted heavily pregnant labourer at factory site, gave her N200k to start business and ordered her to go home

The Ebonyi state governor, David Umahi was moved to comion when he spotted a heavily pregnant woman labourer while inspecting the ongoing mushroom farm project in Abakaliki.
The woman identified as Gloria Nwankwo, from Ishieke, Izzi L. G. A. was among the labourers mixing concrete. He walked to the expectant mother, and ordered her to go home, adding that her condition was not good for such tasking job. He also made an instant donation of N200 ,000 for the woman to start any business of her choice to enable her take care of her unborn child

Instead of the following ideas:

+ Free maternity bills (All expense paid by his government)
+ Child birth grant
+ Scholarship for the child/children till university
+ All expenses paid for the accommodation for the family.
+ Monthly stipend for the family

Subject to the following conditions:

+ That she opt out of the current job
+ That the husband agrees to the woman till child birth
+ That the husband is ive of the family
+ That the husband enroll numerous cooperative societies in the State

very commendable

I think giving her cash is quite not it ... Anyowwith no right mindset to business approach will only end up wasting the money with no gain from d investments ...there should be a follow up and counselling just to ensure she's got a right footing no maTter how petty the business might be
