Lionel Messi did the unthinkable yet again as Argentina won away from home in a fantastic game with saw the living legend score a hat-trick for his country against Ecuador defying the high altitude. It is well known that Ecuador is situated right at the equator which preceded high altitude and a difficult terrain for visiting teams to play or get a result. Argentina ran away this time 1 - 3 winners as they clinched an automatic ticket to Russia leaving Chile who were beaten by Brazil 3 - 0 out of the tournament. Chile had not scored a single goal away from home in four games and should have done better as Peru qualified instead. Congratulations to Argentina and Lionel Messi as the World Cup would not be complete without Argentina. We only hope the Super Eagles of Nigeria avoids this team as it seems to affix itself to the same group as Argentina in atleast for instances of the past.
