I once had an overnight stop and had to get a transit Visa to stay in Kenya for a day.

When you leave the airport and clear security and immigration it's no longer a stopover.. they will stamp you in when you leave the airport for hotel and out when you leave the next day.

Look at this case scenario where you can visit Qatar for free if you're flying with Qatar airways without paying for visa or transit visa.. but you can only stay for less than 72 hours. I can visit a nightclub while on transit and that maybe a place of interest for me.

I was very nervous about filling the 40k...but that is HONESTLY my monthly stipend from managing my NGO for now. Lady G helped me a lot. I noticed she kept stressing HONESTY. Lemme believe you didn't for one minute think that someone on a B1/B2 visa's exit from the US wasn't well documented because his/her port wasn't stamped (out) as was done when entering the US. That which you emphasize now (maybe not clear to me) has been in force for some time now. You can even check and print your US visit records online on the CBP portal.

You probably are not giving us a good picture of what you are trying to communicate to us to sha oh....

The form is not a rigid form It brings what you need to fill based on previous info.

For example my form add place for previous jobs and education but my wife only has her current employment and thats all.
So fear not.

@LadyG ma, I hope you will agree that somehow a proper understanding, communication and making much sense/relevance of one's PURPOSE of visit has high during interviews alongside other key factors though, as against your earlier stance on its place in influencing visa approval? Genuinely, if I had the 'knowledge' I have now of the US visa interview model as at the time I was granted my first visa to the US, I believe I would have been afraid to attend the interview. Two major things going against me then were that I was single and was being sponsored by my US host on a visit to the then bachelor him

Ever wondered why people with good ties and nice job profiles are being denied visa at all? This is my take on the issue.
Have you ever thought or wonder what the vos are typing when interviewing you? They type you name on google and when it is entered on google, google gives every thing about you on facebook, tweeter, intagram , linkdin and so on. So if you say you did not lie on your application and you are denied, google will not lie.
those of you claiming married and your facebook update shows single, the VO would hve seen that.. you lied you are a banker but on linkdin or facebook you are still looking for job or jobless they will find out.. Delete anything inplecating from all social. media before going to the embassy or coming to the states. Google database shares information with embassies and the CIA.

I submitted my port for dropbox lastweek thursday and i received it back today with 2 years multiple visa. So all those claim of no more dropbox and one 1 year visa issued is false

Omobendel24, I watched the video earlier on in the thread where 3 VOs made it clear that everybody's visa is granted or denied on a case by case basis. So I guess for some people, is placed on ties (especially when they are going for vacation) while for "hustling babes" like me, clarity of purpose for the trip will be the determining factor. Whatever the case, I just learnt that it pays to simply present your individual case as truthfully and responsibly as possible.
