I can't seem to connect my universal modem to work, If I click connect it would show as if it wants to connect then it would stop.
In essence, it doesn't connect actively although it can read any sim card I put.

please, I need your assistance. my laptop is always having blue screen issues. I've started it so many times in safe mode yet it still happens. I've formatted it many time and it has persisted. when I boot the laptop, it works for like 1-2 minutes and shows blue screen again and then go off.
its an HP pavilion notebook dv2045dx.
It has always been different blue screen problems.

Try to use it on a different system see if it will work if it does you need to get a good anti virus, scan your PC after that if no solution please back up your data and do a clean installation ...

i ed windows 10 on my pc, installed it on monday, working fine so far.

I copied the ed files to a flash drive so as to install it on my dads laptop.

During installation, it kept asking me for product key[which it totally did not ask me for while installing on my own laptop], well, after several attempts, it finally accepted the 'skip product key input option' and it installed..

Now my problem is that: After the installation on my dads laptop[which i did on monday] i cannot see the "go back to windows 8" option at all but the "windows.old" folder is still found and accessible in the C: drive. But the option is available on my laptop.

Also, the upgrade deleted all his installed apps and settings but did not do so to my system.
P.S- We were both on windows 8 which came as default o.s. mine is hp, hs own is acer.

Please help me out, especially the option of going back to windows 8.

Write out the message displayed on the blue screen and we can take it from here. I'm suspecting a hardware failure, most likely a RAM chip

Good day!!! My DVD drive cannot recognise DVD but can only recognise CD. It started suddenly and I dont know what caused it. I need you help by providing a solution to my problem. The laptop is Lenovo T60.

On your laptop, you did an upgrade. On your dad's laptop, you did a clean install.

You can't go back to Windows 8 on your dad's laptop without doing another clean install.

so both ur pcs can be windows 8 but they may differ as starter or pro..
as i always advise,let the pros do their work and if u cant resist the urge,u can simply seek advice before u embark on ur diy adventure...
just re-install his apps...be forewarned....u may experience further problems with some drivers esp vga later

my hp elite book just displayed SMART hard drive imminent failure. I Tried running the hdd test But failed. I don't know what to do and I don't want to loose my data

Need urgent help.... my Hp compaq just went black when charging buh noticed if ai used torch it's displaying under mayb the back light module is burnt dunno sha... what's is the solution and how much do I need to repair it... it's urgent

You guessed right. It's either a faulty inverter module or a dead lamp. Take it to an Engineer.
