yea...actually me,sometime last year my HTC fone had a similar problem wer by if I charge it, instead for d battery to gain power its d oda way around, it reached d point wer d battery died and I purchased a new one...afta I boot ma fone on I discovered d same problem, wen I plugged d charger there was a notice "connect through A.C" which z alternate current... I wasn't having any sort of adapter xo i plugged d charger to a stabilizer since its also an A.C device and it worked....

I don't knw if both case r dat similar buh since its dsame ba3 ish nd more so its HTC, I suggest u try it

that's how I resuscitated my HTC some time ago after I was almost certain the phone had spoilt.
If it can't link with the battery, well that's a whole different thing.
