Your point is made on just a single moment of outburst. That's not how life works.

Jesus entered temple and didn't even tell the sellers and buyers to leave. E carry Koboko begin wipe everybody. He obviously has anger issues then.

You cannot say someone has anger issues because you saw him slapping a Danfo driver. Have you known him for the past 40 or 50 years, to come to that conclusion?

No , my point was made on two different public display of anger within the space of two years .

I don’t need to live with him to know his reflex action in such situation will always be what he has shown us .

I don’t wake to just start saying he has anger issues ; his public display is what led to that conclusion . The day the road rage incident happened , it was his PA that stayed back to calm the nerves of the rattled engers who were too shocked to see a clergy behave in such manner in public .

This was your original post about beating up the driver's grin

Put as simply as you're now putting it, chances are higher I'd walk away than engage in any sort of physical altercation...Wetin concern me na the car wey dem bash and we know these guys have zero interest in fixing cars they bash...if they're not begging, they're resorting to fight.
Bros leave talk for VDM, if Danfo bash your car and holds your shirt while landing slaps on your right cheek, will you form Jesus and turn the other cheek so they can slap it more or will you say 'excuse me Mr. Danfo Driver, I'd like to us to engage in a civil convo please let go of my shirt'

The documentary was chilling . The documentary further reinforces my belief that the CIA keeps tab on almost every person of interest that appears on their radar . They just need u to overstep ur boundary before they come all out for u. It may take years and even decades , but they will get that person .

There are many persons we've seen single outbursts from that we've made conclusions about their personalities off it, the Unizik abi UNN girl is a recent example...Pastor Paul have had two of these sort of situations, it's not out of place to make assumptions on his personality based off those situations.

As in Ehn 😂😂😂

Flint is a Benin boy, so I was surprised when he mentioned something about a major artery in his hand and dying. I’m guessing he grew up in a very sheltered environment and was never really exposed to the rough side of Benin life.

As for Blueray, being an only child and having all that protection growing up has definitely shaped his perspective on life and influenced the way he reacts to things too.

Benin commercial bus and road s rough die, never thought I will see a city that will match Lagos band for band....

I like where u hang this ball , na Messi angle be this .

We all unanimously agreed the man was out of line acting the way he did in the video .

I wonder why people suddenly think Paul Adefarasin was not acting out of line in the two incidents he’s been involved in .

What most people don’t know is that they may have anger issues and they don’t know or won’t it . Nobody is saying the Danfo drivers are in the right for causing u damage and not wanting to take responsibility , but if ur immediate response is to smash their windscreen , box them man to man or slap them silly then the anger issue is evident .

I once witnessed a guy whose vehicle was scratched by one “korope” giving the driver a dirty slap which he followed up with blows that landed the man in the gutter . He probably thought he won’t get anything from the man after he had bashed his car so he beat the man to a pulp and went back to his car to drive away . The only thing that came to my mind was that the man could’ve died and nobody will he was reacting to the damaged caused to his vehicle when police case set .

True. But we made assumptions about the student because we knew what happened.

I cannot see someone slapping another man at the bus stop and say he has anger issues. What if he was trying to steal my iPhone that I sold my land to buy?

Dey play! You never jam anything bro 😂

Now let me paint a scenario for you:

Let’s say you have a childhood acquaintance — someone you grew up with on the same estate, attended the same secondary school with, and now both of you are in university. In of university level, you’re three years ahead of him because you got in earlier. This guy has always been big — size and weight-wise — and much larger than you. You’ve never had any issues with him, and you’ve always treated him fairly.

Now here’s where things get interesting:

One day, you and some uni friends are eating at a restaurant just outside campus. Then this guy walks up to you and starts asking for money — but not in a way that suggests he really needs it, more like he’s trying to intimidate or obtain it from you by force. At first, you assume he’s joking. But then he starts putting his hands in your pocket.

How would you react?

What you’ve described is what almost everyone who drives in Lagos experiences .

Your reaction in both instances shows u actually a very high temper (not like I’m judging u or blaming u for it tho ) .

So it doesn’t change the fact that I said Paul Adefarasin has a very high temper/anger issues . The last ish he had with the dango driver actually led to some of the engers in the vehicle having cut on the body from the shattered windscreen glass .

If most Nigerian road s buy valid insurance for their vehicles , they won’t need to carry spanner to fight a negligent motorist each time they cause damage to their vehicles through reckless driving . One of my colleagues was involved in an accident last two weeks on his way to work , the other guy who was at fault came down of his car to appeal to him that his insurers will fix the car . Tho my colleague was very angry, he listened to the voice of reason since what he wants is for his car to be fixed eventually . As at last week they’ve fixed his car and I’m sure he would’ve collected the car from the repairs shop this weekend .

You know once you file an insurance claim, your increases.

If the only option I have is to fight back, of course I'd exercise that option, but chances are I'd have explored other options before I resort to that...and there's no guarantee that I'd engage in that fight and not have my head bashed alongside my car grin

There are persons that have driven in this same Lagos for several years and haven't had the need to start exchanging blows or beating to pulp Danfo drivers.

You haven't said what transpired, before concluding he has anger issues.

Lagosians are very quick to label the one with the more expensive car as "Wicked" or "at fault", whenever there's an accident between a rich and a poor man.

One day, a bus hit me from behind and spoilt my bumper. Before I'll come down, this guy reversed and ran away

If I pursue am, and destroy his taillamp, people will automatically say I have anger issues.

People generally have beef with people who look rich. When I was younger, anyone who drives a good car was automatically tagged "These are the people spoiling this country " regardless of how he made his money

Very normal.

Na why I would still insist on us hearing Paul's side of the story as to why he smashed the windshield.

Not in Nigeria .

The insurance market in Nigeria is soft . If ur current insurer doesn’t want to insure u for the current rate due to ur claims history , another insurer will be willing to take on that risk .

I was addressing your point on us not making conclusions based off a single moment of outburst, if it's okay to make conclusions based off the girls single outburst, we can do same for Pastor Paul...especially since we know his phone was not being stolen cheesy

BlueRay suggested Pastor Paul might have an anger problem based on two separate incidences involving the man, and if you need a refresher on what happened the first time he smashed the drivers glass, here's a YouTube link...you'd even see the engers in the Danfo saying Pastor Paul, and not their driver was the one at fault.

I think this is more my position, that the average Nigerian is not really smart and our society reflects on our collective intelligence. We might be no more wicked than your average American, but you can be sure that your average American is smarter and more competent than the average Nigerian.

We are not stupid, we know who these people are and we deliberately choose them for our own reasons

The manner in which you react to provocation is also indicative of an anger problem.

Every interaction has what can be described as an "appropriate" response, and if your response consistently deviates from what's appropriate, you just might have an anger problem.

What will be an appropriate response to a Danfo driver who saw the dangers, you repeatedly warned but insulted you, then go ahead to cause the damage which will cost your time, your money

I think the point that was being made wasn't even about standing ground, it was more...since it's near certain you can't get financial compensation from Danfo driver, you should start fighting with them, or beat them if you can.

If you meet a Danfo driver that leaves you no choice but to fight, of course you'd fight, but reality is that you're most likely going to have other options to handling the situation.

Situation wey you and Danfo dey drag space for road and you notice the guy no wan back down, best thing na to give them space, cause those guys no really care if their car bash. I now agree that you obviously drive in a high brow estate.

One thing I know in Lagos is if you are wrong, a danfo driver will never let you go for free.

It's a pity we didn't know what exactly happened. Not that I smashing of screens, but for Danfo.... ?
