We've been saying this for long that politicians should stop distracting our players when they are on national duty. Sports is not politics, make everybody go siddon jare.

Peter Obi’s presence didn’t have any impact on the outcome of the match. Obi isn’t in government, he isn’t the sports minister and he isn’t a member of NFF or patron of the Super Eagles.

Why should he be invited to take photos with the team? As what?
I don’t APC and I’m anti Tinubu’s type of politics, uncontrolled greed and family interference in politics and the way they impose themselves on Nigerians but com on….Peter Obi should know better.
There are times that you’d have to use your God given sense to withdraw from certain engagements/interactions.

I am not a fan of Tinubu but I like the way he has handled most especially the North and their born to rule mentality. His working with Wike is a master stroke. Wike doesn’t send and I’m sure both men would deal decisively with the antics of the El Rufais, greedy and two faced, sycophantic Rotimi Amechi.

As for Obi my man, he should keep fighting but 3x Obi would not unsit Tinubu. Tinubu will win the next presidential elections hands down. El Rufai and some elements from the north would try the Jonathan treatment but Tinubu would have answers to that threats.

You people will always try to claim victimhood.

Our national teams of all sports are not to be politicised and the fraudulent blockhead called Obi has refused to heed to the standard rule.
Why should Obi be sneaking into to locker rooms of our national players when he is only a politician belonging to a political party.

This issue has nothing to do with Obi as it is a national standard rule that politicians are not allowed to use the national teams to gain popularity. Peter Obi flagrantly broke protocol by trying to by a standing for all politicians in the country. Peter Obi is notorious for trying to take advantage of satiations like this to make himself popular. Only recently was Peter Obi disgraced in Rome when he also tried to fraudulently break protocol and sneak into the VVIP section during the pope inauguration.

Peter Obi is a very corrupt and dubious character that should never be allowed any national position

obi is part of the system... He lost d last election and igbo people started abusing d Yorubas... They started with ekiti people, then lagos then they started insulting prominent Yoruba people like kumuyi, Adefarasin, Adeboye, wole Soyinka and left their people who ed tinubu....
