Let me give you historical fact of why ilwerres say they are not igbo. After PHC fell to nigeria army, the NA went on a killing spree of civilians. They did so in PortHarcourt, Asaba, cross-river. The people had to beg, and yakubu Goloss told them to deny being igbo & biafran in order to prove their loyalty to one Nigeria. They were also giving Identity cards and carried everywhere they went even in lagos and benin
