Hello Everyone, I already got a conditional offer from York st john University , but the agent said the deadline for issuing CAS by the school is this Friday 30 May which I won't be able to meet up with, and also said the slot given to them by the school is filled up ..but I can still apply for the second batch of CAS which is by the end of July.. but it is not certain that I will get CAS even after paying the school deposit,that I can be deffered to January intake.. but at the moment I really want to go for the September intake, so please I'm asking if there are other schools that has a tuition below 13k and 3k deposit before CAS ??

university of west scotland is giving discounts for psychology (conversion) but you are to pay 75% of the tuition which is £10950 after the discount.

Yes, you can withdraw your money after you submit your visa application, even if you haven't received a decision yet.


But Be Careful:
The UKVI (UK Visas and Immigration) only checks your funds at the time of application.

As long as your bank statement shows the required funds for 28 days and it's dated within 31 days before your application date, you’re fine.


Consider This Risk:
If UKVI asks for further documents (e.g. additional financial proof or rechecking funds), and you’ve already withdrawn the money, you may be in trouble.

So, it’s safer to wait until you receive a decision before withdrawing, especially if your application is still under review.

✅ Here's why:
UK Border Force will not allow entry unless you can prove you have a valid visa or eVisa linked to your port.

The airline may refuse to let you board the plane without a valid visa or travel permission.

Please for people who take loan to travel to UK for study. This student loan how does it work in payment?. I and my husband is planning to relocate to UK through Mres route because that's the only way to go together via school.

Someone suggested this and the payment will be done monthly for 48months.

With this new policy,will you suggest we take the loan? Please if you have taken loan and paid how was it? Also with new policy,will you suggest someone to move to UK?

I would say "No" don't do it. It's not worth it. Invest that money into another endeavour.

Sunderland is 12,500 after scholarship
Deposit is 3,500,I think that's one that can go for your budget

I also know of Teeside, roehampton and London metropolitan university but Sunderland is a good enough offer

It all depends on what you're interested in.for me I would say take project management if you want to work in business,operations,tech or global organizations

Or take psychology conversion if you're ionate about mental health,counseling or therapy

In of job availability,I advise to go for project management because of the wider job market

Uclan is a good school only that it's quite expensive for their Mres programs due to the 50% of tuition as deposit and all that...but generally it's a good school

The agent I used for my application made a mistake while filling my visa application.

He wrote: "I want to states that I had my previous study visa application withdraw due to school deadline for enrolment. I withdrew the application on 23rd January 2025"

To me this is grammatically incorrect based on the "states" and "withdraw" which were used wrongly.

I can't make any edit since we've paid the IHS and Visa Fees.

Should I cancel the application and start from scratch?
