Update:
After taking note of the results i got last night after my test drive yesterday night after installing bach the thermostat.

This morning-To afternoon i did my regular daily trip which is usually 8-12 miles, everything seems fine.
On the dashboard the temperature was between 85-86 °C while on my scanner it was around 180-200°F while on move and on idle it can go as high as 210-215°F.
It never got to the 220-230° i got yesterday even in hot weather conditions.
And i can say the fan barely overworked like before thats it was always on cos from the few times i check it while I'm stopped, fan is going off or already off cos the temperature is already below 190-200°f (the fan usually kicks in between 190-200°f)

I'll see if i notice anything different by tomorrow but for now i can say everything is well.

I never knew my car can be this silent cos the sound from the engine is usually louder than the exhaust sounds on idle due to the fan always working on max speed.

One last question: My 2 radiator fans works together instead of just one since the AC isn't on, I don't think the 2 fan should work together or is that how Honda cooling system works?

I can't , it's been long. I've been using the car without thermostat all this while.
But this evening i fixed back the thermostat.
Fan kicked in at 190°f, went as high as 200°+
I test drove the car for like 10mins without AC (my ac is bad)
At some point it went as high as 230° thereabouts, then it reduced again. I was monitoring it with my small obd scanner.
As for the temp gauge on the dashboard. It got to the middle and at some point when it hit the 230 mark, it went slightly above the middle.. it was night so i couldn't risk taking a picture.
But no sign of overheating what so ever. I know 230° is highz
I'm not sure it's normal

My 2AZ Engine is shorting oil and there is sign of oil in the radiator. Looking at the cost of replacing the engine, should I rebuild the engine and if I rebuild, will it last long?

replace engine with toks or if funds dey small, repair, repackage and sell. Add money buy another car.

That particular engine too get oil shortage wahala

What should I do next?

Secondly, I get bumpy rides whenever I drive at low speed, even when the road is smooth.
I took it to the alignment guys, they said I should change tire. I did, but the issue still persists.

Please, what should I do?

If I park uphill, like park with the engine inclined upward, after some hours of it cooling down . The engine will fail to start, it will crank but won't start. If I park on a plain level, car will start fine , once.

I have tried this 4 times and same result. It just started happening this week.

So, what happened that would not start the csr uphill is that the spargplugs become water wet. Cleaning g the sparkplugs and blowing of residual water left in the engine will immediately start the car. What could be the reason for this?
This only happened when parked uphill and left to cool for a while. Let's say 4 to 5 hours .

Spark plugs, ignition coils can cause this issue but it better if another technician can help you inspect it again

It's normal, that's how beetle does.

Anyways, it may be acting such way because of your fuel pump isn't picking up fuel. Check your fuel pump installation and correct the alignment of the fuel pump and fuel ASSY in the tank.

It's a 2008 model. There's water in the tank when checked. I removed thermostat to check if maybe the thermostat malfunctions but same thing still happens when parked uphill.

Fuel pump checked, it's okay. I could parked on a level ground for days and come back to start my car. If I park inclined upward with engine off for over 3 to 4 hours, the sparkplugs become water wet.

Would be difficult to tell from where and how remotely.

About the jerk when you engage Gear
From my little experience of using a car, i noticed people don't make use of handbreak while parking their car, they just move the car from D to P which is bad and that's the cause of the jerk. I don't know the solution to that cos even my car does that and some other cars I've driven.
But here's what i do. Whenever you want to park your car, With your foot still on the break, Put the car on N, engage the Parking break, remove your legs from the break to allow the car rest on the parking breaks then shift gear to park. If you do this as i mentioned, you'd notice that the next time you shift thr gear from P to R/D. You won't notice the Jerk.

The Jerk is caused because the car weighs is resting on the Gear which in time has an effect on the gear and sometimes even do more damages to it. Try this and let me know if it works

Does that mean the engine will have to be brought down to check?
Not necessarily, but the cylinder head would definitely come off the block if the leak is from the gasket as suspected.

Possibly battery drain issues (needs a parasitic drain test)
- A bad battery ( battery voltage can be checked should be 12.6v)
- lastly, probably your alternator isn’t charging the battery, there should be an error displayed on your instrument cluster though

Battery has been replaced two times and still the same issue
My alternator is charging bcuz it keeps starting until I park it for a while but if I remove the battery terminal and come back after hours and fix it back,the vehicle will start up immediately
So I don't know what is running down the battery when I don't remove the terminal

Hi guys,

I did oil change service when my car mileage was at 142,158 KM and currently at 144,201 KM. I got a dash notice that oil change service required. I did oil life reset the last time I carried out the last service though.

This is just less than 1500 Miles na, abi the brain box deh whyne me ni. Some people own even deh do over 5500 miles

Ford edge 2011. The slap on my butt is that my engine oil check dipstick is stucked, I just believe this is not true, abi synthetic oil get life grade ni. This was my first Naija oil change I bought and this is happening so fast
