Yes and I strongly believe the Benin royalty was infiltrated by Yorubas after the Ogiso dynasty and they brought in their Oba system. A lot of lies have been buried and I used to fight Yorubas for saying these but in recent times I believe they are right. The truth is coming out in bits though the battle is still on going between the Oba of Benin (descendants of Oranmiyan) and the Ogiamen royal family (the direct descendants of The Ogiso's) I believe they lost the rights to the throne during the battle of Ekiokpagha. You can research on it though.

You almost made sense until you mentioned my people of Igbanke ethnicity who sought to reconnect with their language brothers from the east. Let me remind this: they made the proclamation themselves and backed it up with a protest; many can see determination and resilience of their spirits.
