Bro, I would not lie to you. I am also on Band A. I get at least 22 hours of electricity supply. I was spending as much until I visited a very wealthy man. He had about 9 Air conditioners in his house, an industrial washing machine and so many other heavy electricity- consuming stuffs in his house. I discovered the man byed and was enjoying it. I asked him and he said they change to the by 7pm Mondays- Saturdays and changed it back to prepaid meter 7am, while on Sundays, he enjoys the by the entire day. This is a man that owns one of the biggest Microfinance Banks in Nigeria. Bro, I ed the man ooo. Even a lot of rich people find a way to cope with the craziness this country dishes out everyday. Everyone just finds a way to cope. Paying bills in Nigeria has now become like crossing seven rivers and seven mountains. Even NEPA officials dey do by for their houses. I have two friends that are top AEDC staff. I have been doing that for over 6 years.

You still did not answer my question because you have no answers, if you use band A you won't say this. Just as the OP talked about reducing power consumption but still yet power bills is more than minimum wage. These houses aren't mansions but basically 3,2, and 1 bedroom flats racking in these bills imagine someone in a duplex.

If you couldn't name a single country where utility bills of a one bedroom flat or 2 bedroom flat is more than the minimum wage of that country simply means the electricity bill in Nigeria for a basic accommodation(1,2,3, bedroom) supes the minimum wage of the country. Its like saying for the regions you cited that the electricity bills of a two bedroom flat in the US qnd Europe is more than $1400 and 1300 Euros respectively that will be catastrophic leading to change of government ik those regions.

Why not buy All in one Solar... YOu only charge it for 3 hours, and it will last you 8hrs on a load capacity of 600w at full charge. If solar is connected, it means during the day you get power supply from the sun.

Fans don't consume much, what consumes more units is the fridge and AC, the fridge can be on for 8 hrs per day, then the AC can be on only at night for like 3hrs, change your bulbs to 5 or 10 watts.

Why would it spoil. The problem with inverter is battery. If you get a good one, you don't need public power except when you want to use things like ac, washing machine or pump water at night. I use my solar for over a month 247 with no power supply. So I'm talking from experience.

Are you sure your connection has not been bugged? 90k per month seems like a lot, even if you are using an air-conditioner(I'm assuming it's an inverter AC). Also, what's the wattage of the air fryer? Can you also cut down on the number of hours your fridge stays powered? You could reduce that to 6 hours per day. From my observation, if you power a chest freezer for 24 hours, 10k worth of power unit may not last for morethan 3 days. So I'm guessing your refrigerator might be a culprit.

It's same everywhere. The concept is deceitful, it's crazy.
You can manage this by alternating with solar. Just 6 solar s with 2 batteries[ not necessarily lithium] can sustain a normal size family in need of essential electricity needs. It's solar in the day and NEPA in the night😊

Don't mind them. I ration my power usage. Light only in the room where someone is, freezer off at night, no aircon, no ironing, no washing machine etc.
