Weddings are supposed to bring people together, right? But in the ever-dramatic streets of Nigerian social media, even a well-meaning congratulatory message can spark controversy — just ask Regina Daniels. Eyes Of Lagos reports,

The beautiful Nollywood actress and billionaire wife found herself trending for the most unexpected reason: her heartfelt congratulatory note to newly wedded Priscilla Ojo — daughter of Iyabo Ojo and now wife to Tanzanian singer Juma Jux.

In case you missed it, Priscilla and Jux tied the knot over the weekend in a lavish ceremony that shut down the internet. Celebrities showed up, showed out, and sent warm wishes. Regina Daniels was one of them.

Here’s what she wrote:

Congratulations, gorgeous Priscy. You make an absolutely stunning bride. Wishing you a lifetime of love, laughter and endless happiness as you start this beautiful chapter. May your home remain blessed and protected. Sending lots of loveeee. Big congratulations mama.”

Innocent, right? Sweet even. But trust Naija social media to turn honey into hot pepper soup.

Regina’s comment section quickly turned into a warzone, with some Nigerians throwing shades and subtle jabs. While a good number praised her maturity and grace, others accused her of “doing too much,” with comments like “Why are you writing like it’s your sister?” or “Clout chasing, small small.”

But let’s be honest — are we now policing kindness?

It seems any move Regina makes is always under a magnifying glass. Whether it’s her marriage to Ned Nwoko, her political ambitions, or even her role as a mother, Regina can’t catch a break without critics lurking. But here’s the real question: If someone didn’t send a congratulatory message, wouldn’t we drag them too?

We live in a digital world where even good wishes come with backlash. So was Regina’s message extra? Maybe. But does she owe the world an apology for being nice? Not one bit.

At the end of the day, it’s Priscilla’s moment — and if Regina chose to celebrate her with love, let’s allow that love to fly free.

That's bad seriously. People should allow to go with their choices. This is similar things that happened in 2023 general election. Some idiots see Thier choice are the best for others.

Either good or bad, let people go with their choices and face the music alone.
