Limit comments character on each thread to 140. Be religious tolerant and why will you be allowing Muslim to comment on Christian post freely and Christian cannot comment on their own post without declaring the unnecessary creed even when they insults Christians on their thread and you want to comment.

Personally, I feel a portrait of His Excellency, President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu (GCFR) should be included on the front page.

Justification for such is that, never a time in history has the country had a leader who s and welcomes social media criticism. Also, being same time the best we had since independence, it will be a great honor to have his portrait on the front page.

Exactly why we need a dislike button seun

Hello Guys,

I'm throwing this question to you because it's very important. Every time I ask, "how is Nairaland?" I'm told that it is fine. If I ask what are the challenges I'm told there are none.

So I need to talk to you guys directly about what you think is going on and what you want us to do. I have not had the confidence to make major changes on Nairaland. I have a little confidence now because of AI.

What are your complaints, your challenges, your issues. What are the things that can drive people away and need to be nipped?

Speak your mind, but don't be rude. Thanks.

I have always wondered why someone needs to agree to a statement inorder to comment to a Muslim post , but that statement doesn't show up on any Christian post??

Happney65, Seun ti ji ninu orun ese.
You know he does this and still not take actions.
Nairaland is now a safe haven for tribalists and cyber bullies. They have a field day without fear of any MoD or super MoD banning them. How can they? When, Seun, most of your MoDs themselves are renowned bullies in their own right.

Nairaland used to be the platform to get breaking news. What we now get are stale news and spill offs from Twitter and even Facebook, ah Facebook!!!!

Fake news and false information were promptly deleted by MoDs but now, you will see a fake news being pushed to the front-page by a super MoD and the thread will survive over a week before being deleted. That will be days after it has been debunked on Twitter. Shame!

Seun, it's either you are living alternative reality or you're in self denial, or the people telling you 'everything is fine' are not being sincere with you - Nairaland needs a total overhaul!

After decades, one cannot dislike a pair or comment on Nairaland. You can't send a DM on Nairaland (do you think one really have to go through the email re-route? Don't you get or sent DMs on Twitter?).

Seun, all the best fun e o.

Sir,

You created a similar "I want some " thread, I think regarding improved moderation, not long after the elections, why not tell us what changes you have made as a result of stuff posts on that thread to start with please?

I am assuming this thread is not a box ticking exercise so I urge you to engage with it effectively with your opinion on what has been posted that you really like and what is completely ridiculous.

Until you do both of the above, quite frankly it's a waste of time people making suggestions as, with the utmost respect sir, it (somewhat) shows the disdain you have for not just the posters but the actual portal.

Apologies for any offence caused.

1) your mods are not active on tribal bigotry/ assault..before it was just catching cruize like the name checkers .... Now pple open thread just to insult tribes and comments that will turn ur stomach ....your rule two should covers all insults but there is no enforcement

Its like u need a Yoruba/igbo neutral person that can be objective in their decisions because the hatred is majorly btw those two tribes....

2)Christianity for Christians as u have Islam for Muslims...and add the same declaration, ..that's if u want to be fair

He will never listen to you.
He actually banned me for confronting him about this repeatedly.

Your platform cannot grow as long as you keep suppressing one religion for the other.

Slap "Jesus is the only saviour" on any profile that comment on Christian thread.

You did this for the muslims long ago. Is this too much to ask? @seun

1) A better CEO.

You allow hateful, divisive and tribalistic posts and comments go through without ever moderating it. Leaving the moderation in the hands of people you can't supervise is not ideal.

I gave you a very good suggestion a few years ago using one of my monikers, but you didn't consider it. It is actually a solution that can place nairaland as a big player in p2p commerce and also provide relief to businesses on NL. me and I'll happily share my idea with you in exchange for a #1 million naira per month position in NL.

My honest opinion
1. Ability to filter topics. I should be able to customize my feed based on the topics I choose. I donโ€™t want to see many spams and unrelated posts in a sub forum
2. Banning s is not enough. You should also remove posts in violation of the rules. It keeps everything sane.
3. We need more informative and progressive posts like in the past.
4. We shouldnโ€™t be seeing architecture diagrams adverts in an investment forum. Any post in violation should be removed.
5. We also need you to be more active on Nairaland than Twitter.

Introduce monthly subscription so as to separate serious minded people like me from the noise makers like mannabbqgrils, ajepako and co. Also get rid of all your s. Most of them are feeling like gods. Finally, do something about Christians taking oaths before commenting or posting on the Muslim forum. Why are the Muslims not being asked to do same on the Christians forum? I don't think this is fare.

Seun may God bless you for this humility question.
Let me talk about nairaland benefits.
1. The platform encourage reading which however make it very academically friendly.
2. it is the only platform that instantly share and store your post on Google search.
3. It's the only platform s are permitted to publish or comment in writing more than a thousand words
4. Very educative

What to improve:

1. A lot of people left nairaland to other platforms because of grievance of not been selected for front page appearance. I thinks you should monetize desperate people who want their publication on front page by all means at a cheap prize daily.

2. Those that place advert should get the statistics of all those that click to their ads. This will increase trust and reliability.
4. Update s through popup ads. This will make nairaland more visible
5. Develop a concept that can promote and financially empower content creators work. Use the idea of live and let others live.
6. Use AI to help s search educative material on your platform.

Na my little submission be this

Then again, some of the words you censored here are actually what made this platform tick.

Go to Twitter, you can bash and yab anyone as much as you want, that's why Twitter is fire.

I'm sure if this were to be Kenya, you would prevent Kenyans from calling their president Kasongo.

Allow the tribalistic rants.
So long as its not threatening or violent, allow us be.
