The Nigerian factor should not create a defeatist mindset in a whole tribe. A defeatist mindset doesn't solve anything. Again, like i said, if the current Navy chief from Enugu had a defeatist mindset, he would not be there when the opportunity was presented. Nobody will call him from the farm, bank, shop or factory to come and head the military. The more people that come in, the harder it becomes for those factors to keep thriving.
i a time a couple of years ago when majority of Nigerian Christians had the mindset of having nothing to do with politics. Thank God, that has changed much. Hoping the elders and elites in the SEast can do same plainly without victimhood.
It's either you chose to ignore my point or you just want to divert the argument, it is not the applicants that determines the allotment of slot, for instance if 100 slots was given to bayelsa and they received 1000 applications, what does he mean by more people should apply? This is the point I am making

Nigeria is A country with 371,800 police personal and 223,000 military personnel to protect 250, million population,
How is that possible,is this not the highest madness?

This is your problem, you don't think far or ahead. In few years again, there'll be more generals and major generals from other regions. And the natural thing is for the leadership to be chosen from among them. Then the representatives of those taking foolish decisions will stage walkouts and complain bitterly to CNN, and repeat.

I don't usually reply to dumb comments because I have assumed that over 90% of black men are foolish.

So how has Yoruba being the COAS benefited the average Yoruba man in Lagos more than the Igbo man?

If it takes you more than 5 seconds to give yourself the answer, you are an idiot.

Black fools and tribesman smelly mentality.

The recruiter says you have low application giving figures, you are here giving for instance. It seems you have better information and instance than the recruiter.

Mali has 41000 millitary
Ghana has 19000 armed personell Ghana police is 36000 large.

And what has the state government been doing about the road and light issue?

My village did not have road and light. We no get anybody, we just tried our best...until our governor heard us in 2005 and fixed the problem. EOD. As at then, no one from our village was holding top position in government.

Meet the governor and legislooters and state legislooters, and even the local government chairman, what are they being paid for? TO pose for office with their boys?

So they won, or what's the meaning of doing better? How many igbos died needlessly in the war?

They defended themselves with all they had and survived the genocidal war lunch against them for 3 yrs without food and weapons, cause they were better on the battlefield, the question of how many igbos died in that war is different from how many igbos soldiers died in that war

It's worth learning from.

Arminius learned from the oppressive empire of the day, he ed them, fought for them a few times, and then left, and taught his people the oppressor's way.

And at the next big battle. ....it was the emperor of the oppressive empire that was weeping and crying like a baby. Many soldiers of the oppressors were caught and turned into slaves, some into human sacrifices.

All because someone learned from the oppressors...

What sort of sick and sickening mindset is this for God's sake? Do you think that everyone in the military goes to the war front? Is it Igbos alone that have been sent to the warfront in the past or present? Where do you get these baseless thoughts from? Anyhu, God still makes sure that everyone reaps what they sow, He is never mocked.

So why are you angry now?
Can you explain why?
Person say en no wan do, why forming from the mouth like an imbechile epileptic retarded patient?

You got lucky then...by 1967, the Nigerian army had lost a lot of officers, and had to train a lot of raw men from scratch. The Biafrans had a lot of good experienced officers (Madiebo, whose book I have read...shout out, and Azuchia)..so they were able to move forward..

But by 1968, numbers told, and the truth was that the Biafran army was fighting against a Nigerian army that was growing. It may lose some battles due to inexpreince (and joke officers...I'm looking at you M.Muhammed)., but they could replace men and materiel easily, while once Biafra lost Port Harcourt in 68, that made supplies difficult. Once the air war was lost, that even worsened things.

IN a war today between Biafra and Nigeria, there are far more trained tropps from other tribes (the middle belt always has large numbers in the army, they are the ones who really run the army, forget Hausas), and fighting against a Biafran army that has limited numbers. It would be a washout.

Gain experience from your enemy, learn from him, so that you can beat him'

I don talk my own.

I just apologised to you for your wisdom the other time, but its like yoruba people don't respect wisdom at all, imagine how you behaving like an average yoruba man who lives a life of dual hypocrisy, which one is growinr Nigeria that the british, te US and Russia was backing with everything.

I will soon withdraw my apologies and your you woto woto

The US army doesn't beg their citizens and citizens of other nations to their army. The Nigerian army needs to package itself properly and provide excellent working conditions, benefits and salary for potential people who want to .

It's okay for them if they choose not to the military but it will be unacceptable of them to talk down or denigrate those brave and gallant ones from other regions, who has been laying down their lives for the peace of the country.

No Igbo man actually send una papa any message, whether you exist or die, en no concern any of us.

The millions of igbos who died were children women and the elderly in camps who died from starvation not bullets , the soldiers themselves were starving on the battlefield, so what defending igbos are you talking about?

Mumu I no be igbo, do not bring ur useless bigotry here, use a brain do not sell it as cheap as 30k stipends. I repeat no opening where the number of application is lesser than the available position to be occupied, but your sold out brain cannot comprehend that.
