Governor Monday Okpebholo of Edo State has visited the families of victims who were brutally murdered in Uromi to offer his condolences and assure them of government .

Reports indicate that some of the victims hailed from Bunkure Local Government Area in Kano State.

In a video obtained by News360 Nigeria the governor was seen addressing the bereaved families, vowing that full compensation will be provided to those affected.

He also disclosed that 14 suspects have been arrested in connection with the killings, stressing that justice must be served.

Governor Okpebholo reaffirmed his istration’s commitment to ensuring that those responsible for the heinous act face the full wrath of the law.

While I, as a human Being, sympathize with the families of the victims, I am also disappointed in the response of northern elites towards the killings up there of both Christians and Muslims
