Reason why landlords and other tenants should lose their properties to fire

So because of the possibility of an accident, you now rather trek than board any vehicle?

What are the possibilities of a solar going up in flames on a roof is this a common phenomenon or is it unusual? I have plans to get one soon.
the possibility is zero..this OP is just been mischievous... solar s do not generate that can of power that can burn or ignite anything..where the transformation comes into play is in the inverter..if you say that one is catching fire..I can believe you..but a solar ?very highly unlikely.
sulakishop(m): 12:01pm On Mar 09
That video was fake, solar s are not responsible for the fire and the roofs can't burn without an inflammable item. Besides, the Inverter would have indicated an anomaly long before the cables get burnt.

Call for your solar installations, mail "my name" at Yah000 d0t c0m
ceejay80s(m): 12:01pm On Mar 09
Almost 15year I have been using it, how many houses don burn,
All these useless write up is from an envious person who can't afford it

That’s not the reason I was expecting. From my experience the removal of those solar s by tenants when they are leaving, leaves holes on the roof cover. So the tenant has vacated your property but you are then left with a damaged roof cover to replace.
The only reason I am letting a tenant install solar s on my roof is if they are willing to leave them behind when they are vacating.

Safety first.

When you build yours, put it there
The is too much, 4 to 6 s is okay with 1 to 2 large battery. And there should be CCTV and fire extinguisher. Burning down a building because of solar doesn't worth it

Bittersweetnig:
that's exactly how Africa think backward, they don't even know what caused the fire to start with, because of ordinary pictures
Handwork of NEPA to discourage the use

I will never allow solar to be mounted on my roof as a landlord...

May God save us from fire disasters
Same here my oga
masseratti: 12:05pm On Mar 09
Bluette:
The cause of burning solar s like the picture depicts above is when the solar power is being overloaded.
They help in calculating the load your solar can carry, if it can't be enough, you shed your appliances. Use 1 for some hours before changing etc.
Just get a good solar person for consultation.
that picture is fake or the cause of the fire is not solar s...solar s does not over load .never .. nothing like that...the inverter or battery yes .but not the ..the work of the s is simply go charge the battery, there is no load on the ..the op is just a fear monger and should be highly discouraged.

To avoid this, expert to help you do Ur installations, make sure you use quality products for the installation (don't because of money buy anyhow product) and make sure you yourself maintain the solar system very well.

Hope, experts study this and know of potential hazards.
Maybe the quality of the solar s, find different brands that won't ignite fire during the sunny weather or betterstill be mounted away from the rooftops.

When the landlord says "I want palm leaves only for roof" ....this is why.

Many tenants in my area has been using solar s,and there is no news like fire explosion.
I don't think it was the solar s that caused the fire explosion.

This particular picture is being posted everywhere to discredit solar power and it's making me to doubt the credibility of the picture. I have a 1.5kva solar system and I am enjoying it, it's been 2 months and it has been uninterrupted power in my home. 24/7 light either off grid or on grid

You don't sound intelligent at all. You're comparing a public property to a private one?
Psalmist1: 12:11pm On Mar 09
Stop pushing out wrong narrative on what you don't understand please my dear.
When you use a professional and qualified Solar Expert and installer, you will live to enjoy both your systems and your roof.

What you've seen is what you expect when you patronize quacks in the field and insincere installers. Also, when you chose to buy less quality components and materials that will not be compatible to the system, but you buy them because it seems cheap to you, because you see the quote given to you by someone who understands the field as if it's too costly.

Stupid picture.

Solar s and energy are the safest means of electricity generation and transmission. I have been using Solar since 2015. Nothing comes close to clean energy.

First of, this image is AI generated, Secondly, a can not burn like that, there is absolutely nothing on it that can maintain that fire to keep burning, its absolutely false.

Don't use nonsense images and make landlord start putting unnecessary restrictions on tenants and making Nigeria nore difficult than it already is.

Fire outbreak from solar s - rare occurrence

Also anything can cause fire in a house no be only solar

A tenant should have signed an agreement with you to be responsible for any damage (s) that may occur from their end
